Possible Application for smart Airports
I. Introduction
One of the most important aspects of a good journey in the airport is maintaining the satisfactionof
passengers. Smartairportis the newgeneration of traditional airportswithvarious intelligence systemsto
provide more facility in the functionality of airports, convenient real-time services to the passengers and
staffs in each time in everywhere [1,2]. Also, smart airports automation and intelligence systems create
great opportunity formanagingthe operation of vehicleson the airports[3,4]. Nowadays,SmartAirports
have the solution to Special muchsmarter,faster and securelyprocess. Actually, *
they developa special
platform to process everything at the same point and distribute the smart decisions among passengers,
staff, personnel and other related individuals. In this stage, smart applications create an efficient
interactionwiththe passengerandgive varioussuggestionbasedonpassengercondition.These decisions
can bring various benefits to the travelers. For instance,*
whenyou want to park your car in the parking,
these applications will suggestyouthe bestpark place base on yourflightlocation. These suggestionswill
reduce the waste time and gives the passengers an opportunity to experience the various suggestions
whichare offeredbythe applicationssuchasofferingtodownloadthemoviesandmagazineorevenshows
the route of nearestloungingplace orcoffee shops.
II. Smart Application
There is a smart airport application among the other applications under the SITA company [5] which is
produced to provide variousinformation,suggestionstothe passengersduringthe travel by sharingthese
withthe smartphone.Inthisreport, Iwillextendandscrutinythisapplication andgive mysuggestions base
on SITA application, I will define the usage and benefit of such smart airport application for airports and
passengers.
1. Bag-tracking
Bag-trackinghas providedvarious benefitsinsecurity issuestothe passengers. Thissystemcanprovide
the opportunity to the traveler to get inform the real-time status of baggage in each step of processing
from check-in to bag arrival in the journey according to the Fig2. [6]; passengers flow their baggage with
the tag numberof baggage withtheirownsmart phone.Bag-tracingsystemscanincrease the use of such
applications.

Before, airlines sent the status of baggage via SMS. Moreover, following systems can be extended by
awarenessnotification tothe customerbefore arrival time and show the estimationtime tothe traveler,
it seems that airlines want to motivate their customers to increase the using of application to follow the
statusbaggage.One of the mostadvantagesof bag-trackingsystems appearwhen apassengermisshisor
herownbaggage onarrival level.Inthiscase,passengercaneasilywriteamissingreportinthe bag-tracking
part.By consideringthe report,staffsof airlineretrievethe baggage and deliverittothe ownerof baggage
inthe shortestpossible time.
2. Real-Time information anddecisionmaking
ThisApplication hasdecision makingtoreduce the waste timeof passengers andhelps themtomanage
their time efficiently. Moreover, such application will be better, if there is an estimation feature in the
application that reports the approximates the wait-time in everywhere of airports that have the queue,
the application canshowits powerby suggestinganalternative place tothe traveler.Thisisthe bestway
of crowd management in the crowding time of airports check-in. Additionally, sharing the real-time
information of flightsisanothernoticeablefeatureof smartairports application.They regularly informthe
passengeraboutthe last detailsof flightseachtime.
3. e-Boardingpass
The e-BoardingPassisadigitaldocumentthatgivethe passengerapermission topassthe securitysteps
byshowingE-certificate tothe staffsorscanningitonspecificsystems suchase-gateActually, self-boarding
pass can easily reduce the process of traveling.In my viewpoint,This application can improve their

performance by self-service security validationandreal-timesynchronizingthe datawithsecurity systems.
For example,if apassengerpassesthe passportvalidation orpassthe biometricsecuritystep;inthiscase,
there is no need such passengeris checkedby securitystaffsagain,by showingthe screenlike Fig[3] but
withmore detail,passengerandairportsstaffsincrease the processof traveling.
III. Conclusion
According to the above-mentioned points, we are reaching a summary that smart airports will be
changedthe people expectationsabout the goodjourney.Theypersonalizeandoptimize the experience
of passenger,share real-time informationaboutthe assets and capacity of airportsin special parts and
provide more secure andenjoyable travel tothe travelers.Inthe future,byexpandingthe smartairports
aroundthe world,the amountof airtravelingwill beincreased. Mostof the peoplewillprefertogotravel
byairplane insteadof othervehiclesduetospecial andgreatprivilegesof airportstravelinginthefuture.

Possible Application for smart Airports

Introduction One of the most important aspects of a good journey in the airport is maintaining the satisfactionof passengers. Smartairportis the newgeneration of traditional airportswithvarious intelligence systemsto provide more facility in the functionality of airports, convenient real-time services to the passengers and staffs in each time in everywhere [1,2]. Also, smart airports automation and intelligence systems create great opportunity formanagingthe operation of vehicleson the airports[3,4]. Nowadays,SmartAirports have the solution to Special muchsmarter,faster and securelyprocess. Actually, * they developa special platform to process everything at the same point and distribute the smart decisions among passengers, staff, personnel and other related individuals. In this stage, smart applications create an efficient interactionwiththe passengerandgive varioussuggestionbasedonpassengercondition.These decisions can bring various benefits to the travelers. For instance,* whenyou want to park your car in the parking, these applications will suggestyouthe bestpark place base on yourflightlocation. These suggestionswill reduce the waste time and gives the passengers an opportunity to experience the various suggestions whichare offeredbythe applicationssuchasofferingtodownloadthemoviesandmagazineorevenshows the route of nearestloungingplace orcoffee shops. II. Smart Application There is a smart airport application among the other applications under the SITA company [5] which is produced to provide variousinformation,suggestionstothe passengersduringthe travel by sharingthese withthe smartphone.Inthisreport, Iwillextendandscrutinythisapplication andgive mysuggestions base on SITA application, I will define the usage and benefit of such smart airport application for airports and passengers. 1. Bag-tracking Bag-trackinghas providedvarious benefitsinsecurity issuestothe passengers. Thissystemcanprovide the opportunity to the traveler to get inform the real-time status of baggage in each step of processing from check-in to bag arrival in the journey according to the Fig2. [6]; passengers flow their baggage with the tag numberof baggage withtheirownsmart phone.Bag-tracingsystemscanincrease the use of such applications. Moreover, following systems can be extended by awarenessnotification tothe customerbefore arrival time and show the estimationtime tothe traveler, it seems that airlines want to motivate their customers to increase the using of application to follow the statusbaggage.One of the mostadvantagesof bag-trackingsystems appearwhen apassengermisshisor herownbaggage onarrival level.Inthiscase,passengercaneasilywriteamissingreportinthe bag-tracking part.By consideringthe report,staffsof airlineretrievethe baggage and deliverittothe ownerof baggage inthe shortestpossible time. 2. Real-Time information anddecisionmaking ThisApplication hasdecision makingtoreduce the waste timeof passengers andhelps themtomanage their time efficiently. Moreover, such application will be better, if there is an estimation feature in the application that reports the approximates the wait-time in everywhere of airports that have the queue, the application canshowits powerby suggestinganalternative place tothe traveler.Thisisthe bestway of crowd management in the crowding time of airports check-in. Additionally, sharing the real-time information of flightsisanothernoticeablefeatureof smartairports application.They regularly informthe passengeraboutthe last detailsof flightseachtime. 3. e-Boardingpass The e-BoardingPassisadigitaldocumentthatgivethe passengerapermission topassthe securitysteps byshowingE-certificate tothe staffsorscanningitonspecificsystems suchase-gateActually, self-boarding pass can easily reduce the process of traveling.In my viewpoint,This application can improve their Fig2. For example,if apassengerpassesthe passportvalidation orpassthe biometricsecuritystep;inthiscase, there is no need such passengeris checkedby securitystaffsagain,by showingthe screenlike Fig[3] but withmore detail,passengerandairportsstaffsincrease the processof traveling. III. Conclusion According to the above-mentioned points, we are reaching a summary that smart airports will be changedthe people expectationsabout the goodjourney.Theypersonalizeandoptimize the experience of passenger,share real-time informationaboutthe assets and capacity of airportsin special parts and provide more secure andenjoyable travel tothe travelers.Inthe future,byexpandingthe smartairports aroundthe world,the amountof airtravelingwill beincreased. Mostof the peoplewillprefertogotravel byairplane insteadof othervehiclesduetospecial andgreatprivilegesof airportstravelinginthefuture. IV.
