2015. The risks of developing dementia will increase by the comprehensive contributions of aging,
risk genes, and unhealthy lifestyles. However, the medical treatments fails to cure dementia
effectively for the mechanics of how dementia is developed is too complicated to identify.
Therefore, present research on dementia treatments mainly concentrates on technological devices to
help people with dementia. In this report, three technological approaches (the early diagnosis in
preventing people from dementia, infrared movement sensors to help taking care of people with
dementia, and integrated smart house are introduced and the limitations future implications of these
technologies are discussed.
By using Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI), a technique for measuring brain
activity, dementia can be spotted early and therefore being prevented. The patient will firstly be put

Student Phonological Awareness
In order to develop a student s phonological awareness I would use the following skills and
activities to focus on: Sentence segmentation, syllable segmentation, followed by tither onset rime
blending as well as segmentation and finally working on phoneme segmentations themselves. The
reason I focused on segmentation it that it teaches the student how to break apart words, as well as
differentiate between syllables and phonemes. The first activity we would work on would be
sentence segmentation where I casually work with the student on breaking down a sentence into
