The Boston Massacre occurred on March 5th, 1770 whenever a group of American
colonists who called themselves The Protestors started an uprising at the Customs
House. The Protestors instigated this Massacre by having taunted the British
soldiers until one Protestor threw a snowball and hit Private Hugh Montgomery.
Once he was hit he opened fire on the unarmed colonists and his fellow soldiers
followed in his malicious shoes. In all, they killed five colonists, Crispius Attucks,

Lady Windermere is the first possessor of the fan, a beautiful trinket embroidered
with her name which is given to her as a birthday present by her husband, Lord
Windermere (Windermere 6). She fiercely upholds moral standards while she
possesses it: she outright refuses to suffer Lord Darlington s talk of infidelity
(Windermere 9). Once Mrs. Erlynne is brought into the play, however, Lady
Windermere begins to lose control of the fan. She states that if Mrs. Erlynne
crosses [her] threshold, [she] shall strike her across the face with [the fan]
(Windermere 22). She also drops the fan upon seeing Mrs. Erlynne in her home for
the first time (Windermere 29). This faltering of the fan represents the beginning
of Lady Windermere s fall from grace. When Lady Windermere allows Lord
Darlington to hold her fan and to give it to her after she has dropped it
(Windermere 29), she is allowing a man who is not her husband, and who, in his
secret love for her, shows a delicate balance between goodness and corruption
(Nassaar 22) to have control over her. This therefore further distances her from
proper moral conduct. When Mrs. Erlynne takes possession of the fan in Lord
Darlington s rooms (Windermere 59), she puts herself in a place of moral
superiority over Lady Windermere. In claiming responsibility for Lady Windermere s
actions, Mrs. Erlynne proves that she is not simply a selfish woman who wants only

Random Practicing Report
In lab 10.1 we took a look at practicing a specific task in two different ways
/ schedules. The two different types of practing schedules are blocked practice and
Random practice. In Blocked practice the learner typically repeats a single task
before moving on to the next task. However, in Random practice the learner will
never repeat or practice the same task more than twice in a row. During this lab we
will see which one is more effective and if it matches what we re expecting. The
first part of the lab was the Block Practicing. In this portion my partner was the
participant. The task was to trace a template on a piece of paper with your index
finger with donimante hand. Their were three different blocks of practice. During
the first block my partner had to trace the template in 1.50 second for 18 times in a
row. After each attempt I was allowed to give her feedback e.g. that was too slow,
or a little faster next time, with a One minute break in between each practice block.

Set four of the block practicing CE average was the only one with a positive score
of 0.07. Overall just looking at my partners block practicing CE averages, we can see
that she did not improve that much the more she repeated the task. From the results
we can infer there was every little improvement in performance at about 0.01 of a
second , but more importantly when doing the retention test five minutes later the
participant actually did worse than on the other six sets this tells us there was no
learning being done making the practicing useless, it needs to be purposeful
