4. TARGET AUDIENCE
• It’s suitable for both genders but more bias to the male gender as it would
have more things that would interest them. The target age would be 16 –
26. Most people come into their own at 16, finding out what music they
like, and eventually people will stop buying when they get older, as they
haven't got enough time.
• Demographics - C1 and lower
• Psychographics – Mainstreamers, Aspirers and Succeeders.
• My target audience would be people who socialize often, have a
comfortable life (college, working), most likely like having a a drink or two,
and also probably enjoy watching shows from HBO and AMC. They’d
also be loyal to brands like Topman, Apple and the sort. Quite mainstream
brands but only because they know they are reliable.
• They’d have little disposable insurance, but enough to get the luxuries
they would want.
5. WHAT WILL IT COVER
• My magazine will cover indie, rock and drum and bass. These genres are
the most popular among my target age group.
• In my magazine it’ll have article about new upcoming bands and also
current band, giving publicity to all and trying to promote them.
• It’ll have reviews with more famous bands every month.
• News and reviews will also feature in it along with festival information and
gig information.
6. STYLE AND BRAND IDENTITY
• The magazine will be quite formal, and able to easily relate and
communicate with its readers, allowing new readers to slip into the flow of
the magazine with ease.
• The colour schemes I would use would be black, whit and red, these
colours are suitable for both sexes.
• The house style will be a bright and friendly.
7. IDEA OF DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD
