Evaluation Question 4
Who would be the audience for your media product?
These images show a general representation of my target audience. As seen above my target
audience would predominantly be adult males with a mature taste in style and have an interest in
current affairs. The target age for my magazine would be around 27 (as seen in the photos above)
but can really include any age from 17 to 40 as tastes and interests of this type of gentleman are
fairly similar e.g. an interest in politics & business or a passion for sport & music. This stereotypical
reader is often very classy and mature but is still looking for entertainment and my magazine design
and aesthetically pleasing nature has matched this. This genre of man is often very bold and
outgoing and this can be seen in my magazine with its very bold design. Though having said that they
are also very classy and traditional and again this has been matched in design and language used.
Having mentioned my stereotypical reader my magazines appeal wouldn’t be limited to just males in
their late 20s but anyone with an interest in mature and interesting content of any gender or race.
Overall these gentlemen have a general interest in a wide range of topics and this magazine includes
most of them to accommodate to all upper income gents needs. If my audience were to want to
subscribe to the magazine, then they would most likely subscribe through the website as it’s the
quickest and easiest way to do so plus they’d get a physically and online version of the magazine
meaning they could view all the content with ease making the magazine more popular with its
widespread availability.
