The Ant And The Dung Beetle Essay
People are more or less the same apart from our social, political, and cultural environments. Culture is
part of what we fundamentally are; therefore if that differs between humans then aren t we all different
because of our cultures and backgrounds? Culture is the core element that branches off to create all the
little differences that make each of us a unique individual. We are very different from each other to the
point where even the language used to communicate to one another varies from one group of people to
another based on cultures and ethnicity. This can be seen very clearly through our actions, and more
specifically, through the stories told to children growing up; fables. The fables La Cigale et la Fourmi,
a French take on The ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The third tale Zeus and the Ant, a Greek fable, is but one example of this. The story goes that a man
was greedy and stole from his neighbors crops. Angered by this, Zeus turned him into the first ant.
Nevertheless to this day, the ant still takes from others, storing the food for his own use. The very first
link from the fable to the Greek culture is the use of the King of the Greek Gods. The story shows that
the almighty Zeus is the most powerful and will punish when punishment is needed. This puts the
belief of the Greek Gods into the minds of children from an early age through story telling. Moreover,
the ant, which is usually perceived as good and hard working, is made the antagonist of the tale. This
is because the ant is seen as a greedy pest instead of the wise insect that that other cultures view it as.
Greek culture sees the intelligence in the ant when it gathers its food, however notices the theft
occurring in the process. As a result, this proves Greece s intolerance for thievery and stealing. The
final element of this story that links to the Greek culture is the language. Told in Greek, the story is
able to reach the children of Greece, and they are able to grasp the important lessons and values

The Girl With Only Two Arms And Two Legs Literary Analysis
I bet you like to be treated well. In the story, Quarta was not treated well. Her classmates were really
mean t o her even though she was really nice to everybody else. The theme in the story The Girl With
Only Two Arms And Two Legs By is to treat people how you would like to be treated. You can tell
this is true because Quarta is very nice to everybody but nobody is nice to her. I know this because she
lets anybody play One Ball, a game she introduced to her classmates. One Ball is a game that is very
close to volleyball. I also know that this is the theme because Quarta helps others. Even though her
classmates who had four arms and four legs are mean to Quarta because she has only two of each.
This shows that she follows the golden rule even though her classmates are mean. Last but not least
the other kids are plain out mean to her. These are reasons why this story is about treat people how
you want to be treated. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
She even let Shay play One Ball. The reason why this is nice is because Shay has two deformed legs
and arms so he only has two working ones of each like Quarta. My next reason why I know this is true
is because she lets the kids that bullied her and didn t let her play their games with them to play One
Ball. Lastly, she lets the other kids that the bullies won t let play with them play. This is one reason of
how Quarta follows the golden

The Development of an Artificial Life based Software...
The behavior of a solution or a service can be analyzed by taking into account the interaction between
the components of the software. These interactions can be analyzed by developing a framework based
on Artificial Life. This calls for the development of an Artificial Life based Software Ecosystem
model. This paper proposes a framework using Artificial Life in the Software Ecosystem. In order to
find the gaps in the existing methodologies, extensive literature review has been carried out. It was
found that the interest in the topic has been on the increase and the advent of professional Ecosystems
has helped popularizing the phenomenon. However, the present framework do not use the data related
to evolution of the Software for later stages. The proposed methodology would pave way of Artificial
Life in Software Ecosystem.
1. INTRODUCTION A Software Ecosystem (SE) considers developers, clients, operating system,
underlying hardware and other peripheral components. A SE considers the concept of evolution of the
software in the same way as the evolution of a natural ecosystem. It has been pointed out by many
researchers that considering the system s evolution would lead to a better and comprehensive analysis
of the software which would ultimately help in management and development of new versions. The
point can be understood by the following analogy. If we consider that evolution of a human being,
then what humans have done in order to achieve, what they have been able to

Term Limits Analysis
The Supreme Court is a critical part of our government. As such, we need the very best and most
capable judges to serve on the bench of the court. Unfortunately, there have been several cases where
judges have stayed on the court way to long. For example, Philip Cattan fell asleep during a rape trial,
and was allowed to remain a judge . (Daily Mail, 2016). Therefore, term limits are a good idea
because it would reduce the impact of judges medical issues on the court, changing judges more often
would result in judges who are more in touch with society, and the majority of people in the United
States support the idea of the term limits for the Supreme Court. Having term limits would be an
excellent idea because it would reduce medical issues that would impact the work of the Supreme
Court. This is why many people support the idea of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Democrats, and independents support term limits. As a matter of fact, John Fund states that A Gallup
survey from Jan. 2013 found that 751% of Americans including huge majorities of Republicans,
Democrats, and independents support term limits on congress . (John Fund, 2014) Having term limits
is just a great idea. Term limits are not only good for the Supreme Court, but also us. It would be
reducing medical issues, allowing younger judges who are in touch with society take charge, and also
it would be taking the peoples vote who support term limits. Judges who are in touch with society
should be allowed to take charge and make better laws. Most of the United States citizens would be

Bananas. The one item every minion wants. These adorable, yellow, Tic Tac like creatures depicted in
the hit movies Despicable Me, Despicable Me 2, and Minions work hard and don t expect much in
return.Their work ethic has received praise from esteemed figures such as Barack Obama, who says
that minions stand for every ideal that America was built on (Kevin 53). The problem is that minions
only work for villains with nefarious plans of taking over the world. In American society, studies
found that 99% of the people feel like henchmen to the biggest companies in all sectors of society,
from Walmart to Wall Street (Bob 17). The relationship between the minions and villains bears many
similarities to the modern economic and political system of America. The Despicable Me movie
franchise is a comprehensive representation of capitalism in America. In the Despicable Me movies,
there are many more minions than villains; however, the minions have significantly less power. This
represents how the richest CEOs of America are greatly outnumbered by the general population, yet

not so much the minions. The richest in American society have much more influence on what occurs
than the working class due to their connections, lobbying, and other factors. Of course the minions
have some power, they are not slaves, but it is harder for them to make a change individually than it is
for someone like Gru, a man in the movies whose antics included trying to steal the moon.

Strengths and Weaknesses
The problem being researched is clinically significant. The purpose is clearly explained and identifies
the reason for the study. The study did not identify who was blinded to the patients, data collectors, or
staff increasing the potential for bias. The hypothesis can only be partially supported due to various
issues regarding sample size, control manipulation, and the patient s reactions to a negative diagnosis.
The training of the data collectors was not clearly expressed. The data was collected ethically and
consistently throughout the study.
Internal and External Validity
The instruments used measured indirectly and were not always reliable due to various issues with
patients. Because the control group was not told to change any behaviors some of the patients listened
to music which tainted their responses. The instrumentation remained the same throughout the study,
but some participants found the questionnaire too disturbing to answer. The researchers did provide an
adequate description of the measurement methods and can find the extent of their errors.

Treatment Of Women In Lady Macbeth
For many years, women were perceived as unequal within their society. This is shown as women didn
t have any rights to vote until 1918, when the women voting act came into place. However this
continuous slur would continue to follow women throughout history. As a result, the writers
Shakespeare, Carol Ann Duffy and Robert Browning, all create female characters that have adopted a
sense of anger and hatred towards their set society. In the poems and play the writers create strong
female characters that have determined voices to deal with the various problems that society brings
upon them. This could further reflect how their breakdown was built up and how they might have
inflicted the break down upon themselves. Moreover, this could also suggest ... Show more content on

Most Basic Turn In Ballet
The most basic turn in ballet is the pirouette, which is a turn around a vertical axis with one supporting
foot on the floor. The pirouette is a highly complex and highly organized skill that involves the
simultaneous coordination of the head, arms, trunk, knees, and feet (Denari Correa, 2013). There are
three stages of a pirouette: the preparation, turn, and landing.
Preparation
The position and movements preceding the actual turn in the pirouette is called the preparation. To
start, place your feet in fourth position, in which the left foot is in front of the right with slightly more
than one foot in between the two feet. According to one study, successful turns were executed from
approximately 40% of the dancer s leg length in the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Spotting involves choosing one point at which to direct your focus while you turn. As you turn, keep
your focus on that one spot and, when you can t look at it any longer, whip your head around and find
the spot again. The main purpose of spotting is to prevent dizziness, since research has shown that it
does not affect the amount of turns generated. The results from a study suggest that spotting has a
negligible effect in generating angular momentum during the double support phase of a pirouette.
Another source concurred that the rotational momentum of a turn is a quantity, and that the total
rotational momentum of the body can only change if external torque acts on the body. Thus, there is
no way that changes in body position alone, which occurs when a dancer spots their head, can change
the total rotational momentum (Laws Sugano,

In Shakespeare’s Othello, Othello Is as Much a Victim of...
Oliver Parker s 1995 interpretation of Shakespeare s 1600 s timeless classic Othello presents a
differing construction of Othello from the original play, achieved through uses of a plethora of film
devices. Both the play and the film masterfully spin a tale of romance, tragedy and death telling the
fall of glory of Othello due to the acts of his ensign Iago, albeit with several differences in the
presentation. Both Shakespeare and Parker explore themes of jealousy, power, and racism through the
key characters of Othello and Iago. Parker utilises cutting, close ups, mise en scene, music and a
variety of others to bring his own in depth dissection and construction of Othello.

In the entirety of the film Parker places many symbols, inferring the downfall of Othello, through
clever scenic locations and the addition of his own locations, Parker is able to provide a different and
fresh interpretation of Othello. In the film Parker is able to show Othello having visible seizures while
showing false images of Desdemona together with Cassio, allowing the progression of Othello s
collapse to be observed, in another scene Parker places Othello in a dungeon hidden behind bars,
symbolising the emergence of the dark green eyed monster from within him. Parker integrates the
plays act 3 scene 3 and turns it into a whole new entity showing the marriage of Othello and Iago, this
scene is the climax of both of the play and the film with Othello succumbing to Iago s words that
Desdemona is a whore . They form a blood bond, this symbolising the blood shed about to occur
caused by Othello insecurities being pounced on by Iago.
Parker s film constructs a unique and unstable character of Othello, whose downfall is caused by his
insecurities being preyed upon by the malicious Iago. Both Shakespeare s and Parker s text explore
themes of power and jealousy utilising Iago and Othello as vessels for these ideas. Othello is
constructed to be a honest man, whose is obsessed with power and control, without his mask of power,
Iago plotting is able to bring upon his

Essay on James Joyce s Araby
James Joyce s Dubliners The Symbol of the Church in Araby
Joyce s short story Araby is filled with symbolic images of a church. It opens and closes with strong
symbols, and in the body of the story, the images are shaped by the young), Irish narrator s
impressions of the effect the Church of Ireland has upon the people of Ire land. The boy is fiercely
determined to invest in someone within this Church the holiness he feels should be the natural state of
all within it, but a succession of experiences forces him to see that his determination is in vain. At the
climax of the story, when he realizes that his dreams of holiness and love are inconsistent with the
actual world, his anger and anguish are directed, not toward the Church, ... Show more content on

Since the boy is the narrator, the inclusion of these symbolic images in the description of the setting
shows that the boy is sensitive to the lack of spiritual beauty in his surroundings. Outside the main
setting are images symbolic of those who don t belong to the Church. The boy and his companions go
there at times, behind their houses, along the dark muddy lanes, to where the rough tribes (the infidel)
dwell. Here odors arise from the ash pits those images symbolic to James Joyce of the moral decay of
his nation.
Even the house in which the youthful main character lives adds to the sense of moral decay. The
former tenant, a priest (now dead), is shown to have been insensitive to the spiritual needs of his
people. His legacy was a collection of books that showed his confusion of the sacred with the secular
and there is evidence that he devoted his life to gathering money and furniture. He left behind no
evidence of a life of spiritual influence.
Despite these discouraging surroundings, the boy is determined to find some evidence of the
loveliness his idealistic dreams tell him should exist within the Church. His first love becomes the
focal point of this determination. In the person of Mangan s sister, obviously somewhat older than the
boy and his companions, his longings find an object of worship. The boy s feelings for the girl are a
confused mixture of sexual desire and of sacred adoration, as

The Kongolese And Christianity In Kongo
For centuries, Africans and their belief systems have been derided. Instead of being studied as valid
and meaningful responses to the universal terms of human existence, African religions have often been
considered exotic objects... peculiar and incomprehensible or repellent. For many Europeans,
Christianity was by far the superior religion, and they strove to convert Africans. One kingdom where
they seemed to enjoy success was Kongo. By 1704, the people living there had been Catholic for six
generations nearly two centuries. The Kongolese took great pride in this, believing that it made them
superior to their neighbours. Moreover, both the Kongolese and the Church took pride in the fact that
Christianity had come to Kongo not through conquest and forced conversion, but through the
voluntary conversion of João I. Despite this achievement, though, the Church more the Kongolese had
to practice Catholicism exactly as the Europeans did. With the coming of Dona Beatriz Kimpa Vita,
who claimed to be possessed by Saint Anthony, this conflict would become more apparent than ever
before. Though the Capuchins succeeded in having Dona Beatriz burnt at the stake, they failed in their
ultimate goal of fully converting the Kongolese to their form of Catholicism.
The knowledge of Catholicism displayed by the Kongolese was impressive. Though many Europeans
wondered about their penchant for such things as sacred stones and ancestors graves... they never

Tanglewood organization for most job categories. There are a few job categories that hit the 80% of
the 4/5 rule. The store associate white to non white and white to African American comparison

store manager white to African American ranked at 89%. All other job categories fell well below the
80%. The worst category was store manager internal and external white to African American. Both of
these comparisons showed 0% of African Americans have been hired for a store manager position.
The lack of diversity in the upper management will cause legal issues for Tanglewood.
The concentration data also shows evidence that point to disparate impact discrimination in the

that have stood out to her the most. In order for the readers to fully understand those past encounters,
some of which are cultural and common among Latinos, Cofer explains them in careful detail. For

misinterpreted as a come on to men when in fact, that usually isn t the case because dressing that way
is normal and even encouraged by Latin mothers. The point Cofer was trying to display in her
narrative was that the outward appearance of Latin women should not be mistaken with who they are
but rather be considered as part of their culture. This narrative describes a cultural clash between
America s mainstream views and opinions and Latin women who have to struggle with these
stereotypes from a young age. Career Day is one of the examples in which Cofer experienced falling
under one of those stereotypes and feeling like an outcast when the nuns at her school displayed the
Latin girls as the negative models of Career Day. Cofer s strong opinions against these stereotypes is
made clear throughout the story as she explains random instances she remembers of how others view
Latin girls and how the media often objectifies women comparing them to Hot Tamales and other

Examples Of Good Role Models In Romeo And Juliet
In Romeo and Juliet there are many role models. However, very few are actually good role models.
While Romeo is a hasty man, a romantic, and all together a sissy; Benvolio is level headed,
compassionate, and wise. These two men, while friends, are quite different one being a bad role
model, and the other being a good one. Romeo, although a romantic and very lovable character, is not
a good role model for various reasons. In many times of trouble instead of looking for a solution to a
problem, Romeo will simply sit around and pout about it. In the beginning of the play, we know that
Romeo was crying for Rosaline because she was supposedly the most beautiful girl in the world and
his love for her was unrequited. Another time we see this is when he is banished for killing Tybalt and
goes to Friar Laurence and does nothing but cry. Romeo can also be seen as hasty. He doesn t think
throughwhat he does, and this could likely be because he is a romantic. His love for Juliet makes him
marry her without thinking of the consequences, and when Mercutio is killed, his romantic sense of
justice demands for Tybalt to be slain. Hastiness is a common theme of Romeo s actions, especially
when they concern Juliet. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Benvolio, unlike Romeo, is level headed and thinks through everything that he does. In the first scene,
Benvolio tries to stop the fight and only enters the fight when his honor has been insulted. It is able to
be seen that he is wise in this scene as well because he doesn t want anyone to get hurt, Montague or
Capulet. He also keeps in mind what the Prince has warned them in most of the fight scenes. Although
harder to see, Benvolio is also compassionate. This makes him a well rounded role model. A time
where this can be seen is when he tells Romeo he will weep at thy good heart s oppression . Benvolio
is moved by his friend s suffering and is compelled to mourn for

Racism And Discrimination In Nebraska
Racism has been a core problem in the United States of America ever since the country was founded
two centuries ago. The country has repeatedly seen discrimination against the black Community by
the hands of the White community. Along with time, this racial discrimination based on color has been
reduced through extensive programs and new ideologies by state run programs as well as by programs
that are federally funded. However, the same cannot be said for the state of Nebraska. This is because
Nebraska has stated representatives who are racist against the Black Community, educational institutes

Nebraska has admitted that he has witnessed racism in his own university and that there should be
more done in order to excuse such racism and prevent it from happening ever again (Howard, 2015).
This revelation and admittance came out after the UNL University had discovered increasing racism

A Brief Note On The United Kingdom ( Uk ) Essay
Overview of the Healthcare System in the United Kingdom (UK) With over 65 million inhabitants, the
United Kingdom (UK) is the 21st most populated country in the world, behind China, India and the
US as the top three ranked countries in terms of population (Worldometers, 2016). However, its
healthcare system is ranked as 5th worldwide (GBD2015 SDG Collaborators, 2016). The UK health
system is financed primarily via general taxation. The system is lauded for providing universal
coverage of all people ordinarily resident, and generally at no charge for the patient at the point of care
(Mossialos, 2016). The breadth of covered services derives from the 2006 Health Act that put forth the
Secretary of State s duty to promote a comprehensive health service to secure improvement in the
physical and mental health of the people of England, and the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of
illness (Legislation.gov.uk, 2006). On an annual basis, the Secretary of State sets health and efficiency
goals for NHS England, the organization tasked with plan and budget management (Mossialos, 2016).
Quality of care concerns are overseen by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), which requires all
healthcare providers to be registered, so their performance can be assessed against national quality
standards. These national quality standards are developed by the National Institute for Health and
Clinical Excellence (NICE), and include measures such as maximum wait times for key

The Blind Side( Michael Oher)
Michael Oher is an immense human being. At the age of sixteen, he had a 20 inch neck, 50 inch waist,
and a 58 inch chest. Larger measurements, that is, than every single member of the Washington
Redskins. This fact alone meant that his final years in high school, Oher was the focus of attention of
college coaches across America grown men taking detours of hundreds of miles to watch him practice,
in the hope of persuading him to play for their team. Had these coaches the power to design a
prototypical left tackle, Oher s six foot five, 330 pound frame would have been pretty close to their
model. And yet the fact that he was even still at high school was, in itself, nothing short of a miracle.

The subject of the relationship between high school sports and educational achievement has been
covered before. Buzz Bissinger s Friday Night Lights , which has since been the inspiration for a
movie and a TV series, followed a high school team in Texas for a season. Far from the saccharine,
wholesome version of schooldays that we are accustomed to, Bissinger painted an unhappy and
controversial portrait of a white community interested in black children only so far as they could help
compete for the state championship; a school with $5,000 for the English department but $70,000 for
travel to away matches; allegations of pain killers being used illegally to get injured teenagers playing
as soon as possible. Such was the controversy the book caused that Bissinger, who had spent a year in
the town, didn t return until 20 years later.
The Blind Side has a more uplifting tale at its heart. Yet this does not stop it from being an unsettling
story. The Tuohys are accused of taking Michael into their lives solely to ensure that he can

Genesis VS Plato
The story of Genesis, and the great philosopher Plato both depict a certain view on human nature.
Genesis demonstrates that humans live on in their families. While, Plato creates this idea that we are
in constant search of THE GOOD. In this paper, I will compare and contrast how these works answer
three important questions; What are human beings like? What kind of world do they live in? What is
the best life for humans to live? Finally, I will explain which one of these views better represents what
human beings are really like.
The first book of the Hebrew bible, Genesis, tells the story of how an all powerful God created the
Earth and all who inhabit it. The story is quite familiar even to those who do not belong to regions that
utilize the hebrew bible. However, the story quickly becomes unfamiliar once the story is analyzed
from a philosophical standpoint. A great example is Eve, people know her as the one who disobeyed

Speciation in the Butterfly Essay
Recent studies into the genome of the various Heliconius butterflies, has shown a clear indication of
the process of speciation. Speciation is usually thought of as a long term process, just like the process
of evolution. Very few changes to the genome are needed to create the possibility of a new species
evolving even if the original species is still in contact and reproducing. Once the changes to the
genome have begun, the evolutionary divergence is a rapid process that results in a new genetically
isolated species. Speciation is the divergence of a population into different species. There are two
forms of speciation; allopatric, where physical or environmental factors can cause a population to
form a new species, or sympatric, where a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Researchers have analyzed the genome of two subspecies of the Heliconius butterfly having only
recently diverged into subspecies in order to locate the genetic differences that are the critical points
for speciation. These two subspecies are still able to interbreed and are located in the similar
ecological habitats; therefore these butterflies will be able to experience a small amount of genetic
exchange. This ability of regular exchange causes the unimportant variants in the process of speciation
to become silent the researchers found that this allowed them to locate the main genetic areas that
natural selection has influenced. In the research they determined that the two Heliconius butterfly
species genome had only 12 differing regions and the rest of the genome was nearly identical. Of the
12 differences eight of these they found to code for the wing color patterning, a key trait as it affects
mating and avoiding predators in their perspective environments, the other four were still yet
undetermined. In a second test they compared the two previous genomes to a third Heliconius species.
The third species was farther removed on the evolutionary time scale but was still closely related to
the previous groups. The comparison showed the genomes to have hundreds of differences; they
concluded that once the initial genetic changes

Holidays in the United States differ from others around the world. Two unique holidays celebrated in
the states are Halloween and Christmas. The two holidays differ in tradition and decoration, but occur

1. Who is Sir Robert Peel? What contributions did he make to law enforcement?
Sir Robert Peel was known as the father of modern policing for drafting the Act for refining the police

Police Act. According to Dempsey and Forst (2016, p.7), His link to policing comes from his

Framing Analysis
Have you ever seen a story in the news that has been told multiple ways depending on which news
station you were tuning in to? This tends to happen very often in the news industry and why this
happens is because of framing. Framing is a way to present certain content in a way to guide an
audience s interpretation along certain lines. How the news does this is by having the gatekeepers,
which are the people in charge decide which group of facts are most important to share to the public to
help promote a particular view of that story. Recently in the news everyone has been talking about
Colin Powell and his leaked emails talking about both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Colin

Each news outlet has a different way of framing this story and this is based on either which party they
support or what there company wants them to talk about. CBS chose to frame this story by talking
about both candidates and how Colin Powell thought both candidates were just as bad. FoxNews
framed the story to make it seem like Colin Powell only talked about Hillary Clinton in his emails and
not trump at all, which shows you how they want you to view Hillary Clinton as an evil person. Reuter
framed the story by making it seem like Colin Powell really hated Donald Trump and didn t really
care for Hillary Clinton, which made her seem not as bad. Picking what news station you want to tune
into is extremely important because you want to make sure you get an outlet that has a common
ground and you aren t only hearing one side to the story. The hero that is being portrayed in this news
story is Colin Powell because he is the only one stating his opinion on how he feels and is being real,

8th Amendment Bars Cruel And Unusual Punishment
More than a hundred of Americans are wrongfully sent to death row. Hundreds of people die innocent.
Killing people for killing others is wrong in any situation. Though some people say when murder is
punished with death less people will commit crime, murdering is uncivil, especially when the person
is wrongfully accused. Killing someone for killing someone else is not an appropriate punishment.
According to the Constitution the death penalty is uncivil. The Eighth Amendment bars cruel and
unusual punishment, and that s what a lot of people say the death penalty is. People that have family
members killed aren t wanting the other person killed, just locked up. In 2015 Dylann Roof opened

  • 2. The Ant And The Dung Beetle Essay People are more or less the same apart from our social, political, and cultural environments. Culture is part of what we fundamentally are; therefore if that differs between humans then aren t we all different because of our cultures and backgrounds? Culture is the core element that branches off to create all the little differences that make each of us a unique individual. We are very different from each other to the point where even the language used to communicate to one another varies from one group of people to another based on cultures and ethnicity. This can be seen very clearly through our actions, and more specifically, through the stories told to children growing up; fables. The fables La Cigale et la Fourmi, a French take on The ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The third tale Zeus and the Ant, a Greek fable, is but one example of this. The story goes that a man was greedy and stole from his neighbors crops. Angered by this, Zeus turned him into the first ant. Nevertheless to this day, the ant still takes from others, storing the food for his own use. The very first link from the fable to the Greek culture is the use of the King of the Greek Gods. The story shows that the almighty Zeus is the most powerful and will punish when punishment is needed. This puts the belief of the Greek Gods into the minds of children from an early age through story telling. Moreover, the ant, which is usually perceived as good and hard working, is made the antagonist of the tale. This is because the ant is seen as a greedy pest instead of the wise insect that that other cultures view it as. Greek culture sees the intelligence in the ant when it gathers its food, however notices the theft occurring in the process. As a result, this proves Greece s intolerance for thievery and stealing. The final element of this story that links to the Greek culture is the language. Told in Greek, the story is able to reach the children of Greece, and they are able to grasp the important lessons and values hidden in the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Her classmates were really mean t o her even though she was really nice to everybody else. The theme in the story The Girl With Only Two Arms And Two Legs By is to treat people how you would like to be treated. • 4. The Development of an Artificial Life based Software... The behavior of a solution or a service can be analyzed by taking into account the interaction between the components of the software. These interactions can be analyzed by developing a framework based on Artificial Life. This calls for the development of an Artificial Life based Software Ecosystem model. This paper proposes a framework using Artificial Life in the Software Ecosystem. In order to find the gaps in the existing methodologies, extensive literature review has been carried out. It was found that the interest in the topic has been on the increase and the advent of professional Ecosystems has helped popularizing the phenomenon. However, the present framework do not use the data related to evolution of the Software for later stages. The proposed methodology would pave way of Artificial Life in Software Ecosystem. 1. INTRODUCTION A Software Ecosystem (SE) considers developers, clients, operating system, underlying hardware and other peripheral components. A SE considers the concept of evolution of the software in the same way as the evolution of a natural ecosystem. It has been pointed out by many researchers that considering the system s evolution would lead to a better and comprehensive analysis of the software which would ultimately help in management and development of new versions. The point can be understood by the following analogy. If we consider that evolution of a human being, then what humans have done in order to achieve, what they have been able to ... • 5. Term Limits Analysis The Supreme Court is a critical part of our government. As such, we need the very best and most capable judges to serve on the bench of the court. Unfortunately, there have been several cases where judges have stayed on the court way to long. For example, Philip Cattan fell asleep during a rape trial, and was allowed to remain a judge . (Daily Mail, 2016). Therefore, term limits are a good idea because it would reduce the impact of judges medical issues on the court, changing judges more often would result in judges who are more in touch with society, and the majority of people in the United States support the idea of the term limits for the Supreme Court. (John Fund, 2014) Having term limits is just a great idea. Term limits are not only good for the Supreme Court, but also us. In American society, studies found that 99% of the people feel like henchmen to the biggest companies in all sectors of society, from Walmart to Wall Street (Bob 17). The pirouette is a highly complex and highly organized skill that involves the simultaneous coordination of the head, arms, trunk, knees, and feet (Denari Correa, 2013). There are three stages of a pirouette: the preparation, turn, and landing. Preparation The position and movements preceding the actual turn in the pirouette is called the preparation. As you turn, keep your focus on that one spot and, when you can t look at it any longer, whip your head around and find the spot again. The results from a study suggest that spotting has a negligible effect in generating angular momentum during the double support phase of a pirouette. Another source concurred that the rotational momentum of a turn is a quantity, and that the total rotational momentum of the body can only change if external torque acts on the body. Oliver Parker s 1995 interpretation of Shakespeare s 1600 s timeless classic Othello presents a differing construction of Othello from the original play, achieved through uses of a plethora of film devices. Both the play and the film masterfully spin a tale of romance, tragedy and death telling the fall of glory of Othello due to the acts of his ensign Iago, albeit with several differences in the presentation. Both Shakespeare and Parker explore themes of jealousy, power, and racism through the key characters of Othello and Iago. It opens and closes with strong symbols, and in the body of the story, the images are shaped by the young), Irish narrator s impressions of the effect the Church of Ireland has upon the people of Ire land. The boy is fiercely determined to invest in someone within this Church the holiness he feels should be the natural state of all within it, but a succession of experiences forces him to see that his determination is in vain. Since the boy is the narrator, the inclusion of these symbolic images in the description of the setting shows that the boy is sensitive to the lack of spiritual beauty in his surroundings. The boy and his companions go there at times, behind their houses, along the dark muddy lanes, to where the rough tribes (the infidel) dwell. Here odors arise from the ash pits those images symbolic to James Joyce of the moral decay of his nation. Even the house in which the youthful main character lives adds to the sense of moral decay. The former tenant, a priest (now dead), is shown to have been insensitive to the spiritual needs of his people. His legacy was a collection of books that showed his confusion of the sacred with the secular and there is evidence that he devoted his life to gathering money and furniture. He left behind no evidence of a life of spiritual influence. Despite these discouraging surroundings, the boy is determined to find some evidence of the loveliness his idealistic dreams tell him should exist within the Church. His first love becomes the focal point of this determination. In the person of Mangan s sister, obviously somewhat older than the boy and his companions, his longings find an object of worship. Instead of being studied as valid and meaningful responses to the universal terms of human existence, African religions have often been considered exotic objects... peculiar and incomprehensible or repellent. For many Europeans, Christianity was by far the superior religion, and they strove to convert Africans. One kingdom where they seemed to enjoy success was Kongo. By 1704, the people living there had been Catholic for six generations nearly two centuries. The Kongolese took great pride in this, believing that it made them superior to their neighbours. Moreover, both the Kongolese and the Church took pride in the fact that Christianity had come to Kongo not through conquest and forced conversion, but through the voluntary conversion of João I. Despite this achievement, though, the Church more the Kongolese had to practice Catholicism exactly as the Europeans did. With the coming of Dona Beatriz Kimpa Vita, who claimed to be possessed by Saint Anthony, this conflict would become more apparent than ever before. Though the Capuchins succeeded in having Dona Beatriz burnt at the stake, they failed in their ultimate goal of fully converting the Kongolese to their form of Catholicism. Cofer goes on to discuss how the way Latin women dress can be misinterpreted as a come on to men when in fact, that usually isn t the case because dressing that way is normal and even encouraged by Latin mothers. The point Cofer was trying to display in her narrative was that the outward appearance of Latin women should not be mistaken with who they are but rather be considered as part of their culture. These two men, while friends, are quite different one being a bad role model, and the other being a good one. Romeo, although a romantic and very lovable character, is not a good role model for various reasons. In many times of trouble instead of looking for a solution to a problem, Romeo will simply sit around and pout about it. In the beginning of the play, we know that Romeo was crying for Rosaline because she was supposedly the most beautiful girl in the world and his love for her was unrequited. Another time we see this is when he is banished for killing Tybalt and goes to Friar Laurence and does nothing but cry. Romeo can also be seen as hasty. He doesn t think throughwhat he does, and this could likely be because he is a romantic. His love for Juliet makes him marry her without thinking of the consequences, and when Mercutio is killed, his romantic sense of justice demands for Tybalt to be slain. However, its healthcare system is ranked as 5th worldwide (GBD2015 SDG Collaborators, 2016). The UK health system is financed primarily via general taxation. The system is lauded for providing universal coverage of all people ordinarily resident, and generally at no charge for the patient at the point of care (Mossialos, 2016). The breadth of covered services derives from the 2006 Health Act that put forth the Secretary of State s duty to promote a comprehensive health service to secure improvement in the physical and mental health of the people of England, and the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illness (Legislation.gov.uk, 2006). On an annual basis, the Secretary of State sets health and efficiency goals for NHS England, the organization tasked with plan and budget management (Mossialos, 2016). Once the changes to the genome have begun, the evolutionary divergence is a rapid process that results in a new genetically isolated species. This ability of regular exchange causes the unimportant variants in the process of speciation to become silent the researchers found that this allowed them to locate the main genetic areas that natural selection has influenced. In the research they determined that the two Heliconius butterfly species genome had only 12 differing regions and the rest of the genome was nearly identical.
