Photography Task 2:
Evaluation

Contact Sheet
 To the right, this is the
contact for where all my
images are that I took,
then I imported them
through to my email
and put them into a
folder. I had quite a few
photo’s simply because
of the different angles
that were used .
The chosen ideas for my media
product
 I did have a lot of photos to
choose from, it was hard but in
the end I decided to choose
three of pictures that I took in
the estate. I made this choice
because of the standards that
the brief wanted me to meet
and making it look urban.
 But these three are also my
favourite as I feel as if that not
all bad things happen in an
estate, and these three pictures
show that
Images that were not selected
 As there were a lot to
choose from, these
pictures were chosen as I
felt as if that these did not
really meet the standards
and in my opinion I
preferred the other pictures
to these ones
Evaluation Camera – for my photoshoot I has used a DSLR TO capture my pictures
 Shutter speed - the shutter speed did not effect as we were in the dark most of time
 Aperture – there was a little bit of light in the way with the lamppost in the background, meaning that I had to alter a few of my settings
 Focus – the camera focuses automatically on certain objects within a seconds
 Framing – nearly all of my photos are at an A4 size meaning that I am able to put in writing
 Lighting – the flash mode was off for certain pictures as some of them did not flash as there was light in background
 Camera support – I did not have any camera support as I was holding the camera in my hands
 Creative intent – my intention is to show my audience of how fashion the London has grown rapidly for women. This could represent
women and London as strong and independent
 Production meaning - my outcome is positive as I had a choice out of 9 photos and I cut it down to three so that I could cut it down to
three.
 Creative feedback – with the pictures that were taken , I was given very good positive feedback , some of the comments saying how I
used my time and effort into taking this pictures and having the effort and commitment to going different locations and experimenting with
my camera
 Integration - with my three final pictures, they fit perfectly with my magazine and my topic as it is both about the strength of Women and
London but mainly about their fashion choices and how they choose to represent themselves.

Photography task 2

  • 2. Contact Sheet  To the right, this is the contact for where all my images are that I took, then I imported them through to my email and put them into a folder. I had quite a few photo’s simply because of the different angles that were used .
  • 3. The chosen ideas for my media product  I did have a lot of photos to choose from, it was hard but in the end I decided to choose three of pictures that I took in the estate. I made this choice because of the standards that the brief wanted me to meet and making it look urban.  But these three are also my favourite as I feel as if that not all bad things happen in an estate, and these three pictures show that
  • 4. Images that were not selected  As there were a lot to choose from, these pictures were chosen as I felt as if that these did not really meet the standards and in my opinion I preferred the other pictures to these ones
  • 5. Evaluation Camera – for my photoshoot I has used a DSLR TO capture my pictures  Shutter speed - the shutter speed did not effect as we were in the dark most of time  Aperture – there was a little bit of light in the way with the lamppost in the background, meaning that I had to alter a few of my settings  Focus – the camera focuses automatically on certain objects within a seconds  Framing – nearly all of my photos are at an A4 size meaning that I am able to put in writing  Lighting – the flash mode was off for certain pictures as some of them did not flash as there was light in background  Camera support – I did not have any camera support as I was holding the camera in my hands  Creative intent – my intention is to show my audience of how fashion the London has grown rapidly for women. This could represent women and London as strong and independent  Production meaning - my outcome is positive as I had a choice out of 9 photos and I cut it down to three so that I could cut it down to three.  Creative feedback – with the pictures that were taken , I was given very good positive feedback , some of the comments saying how I used my time and effort into taking this pictures and having the effort and commitment to going different locations and experimenting with my camera  Integration - with my three final pictures, they fit perfectly with my magazine and my topic as it is both about the strength of Women and London but mainly about their fashion choices and how they choose to represent themselves.
