Create a video presentation
that promotes the natural
resources of the Phil.
Natural Resources
naturally occurring materials
not man made
gathered from nature
Examples:
Air, water, plants, animals,
soil, rocks, minerals, crude
oil and other fossil fuels
Video Theme:
 Arable lands (growing crops)
 Diverse plants and animals (endemic)
 Bodies of water (coastline, salt water, fresh water)
 Mineral deposits (mining sites, minerals)
 Energy resources (power plants)
Video: What to present?
 Promote atleast 5 natural resources from each place: Luzon (5), Visayas
(5), Mindanao (5)
 Make sure that all resources are theme-related.
 Each resource must have the ff info:
 Name/image/picture
 Location (province, city, latitude and longitude)
 Description
 Unique characteristics/trivia (smallest, largest, longest, etc)
Conserving and Protecting Natural Resource
Think of different ways on how to conserve and
protect the natural resources (theme).
Research on how the local government/brgy officials
or community protect their natural resources.
Ex. PPUR is protected under international
convention
Additional:
 Indicate the references or sources of information and
images/pictures.

  • 1. Are we lucky in the Philippines? PROMOTING, CONSERVING AND PROTECTING THE THE PHILIPPINE NATURAL RESOURCES
  • 2. Module 1: Group Output Create a video presentation that promotes the natural resources of the Phil.
  • 3. Natural Resources naturally occurring materials not man made gathered from nature
  • 4. Examples: Air, water, plants, animals, soil, rocks, minerals, crude oil and other fossil fuels
  • 5. Video Theme:  Arable lands (growing crops)  Diverse plants and animals (endemic)  Bodies of water (coastline, salt water, fresh water)  Mineral deposits (mining sites, minerals)  Energy resources (power plants)
  • 6. Video: What to present?  Promote atleast 5 natural resources from each place: Luzon (5), Visayas (5), Mindanao (5)  Make sure that all resources are theme-related.  Each resource must have the ff info:  Name/image/picture  Location (province, city, latitude and longitude)  Description  Unique characteristics/trivia (smallest, largest, longest, etc)
  • 7. Conserving and Protecting Natural Resource Think of different ways on how to conserve and protect the natural resources (theme). Research on how the local government/brgy officials or community protect their natural resources. Ex. PPUR is protected under international convention
  • 8. Additional:  Indicate the references or sources of information and images/pictures.  Group COLOR- Section-SY  Group Members-Name  Save the video in CD (USB files will not be accepted)
  • 9. Rubrics: O, VS, S, F, P Criteria 5 4 3 2 1 Total Content (correct/reliable and entertaining data/information; followed instructions) Organization (theme related, systematically arranged presentation) Creativity (font, color, style/attractive images/pics) Punctuality (due on February 5, 2016; late:5points deduction per day) Total 20 x 3 = 60/60
