Personality
• Personality refers to
individual differences in
characteristic patterns of
thinking feeling and
behaving.
• The sum total of ways in
which an individual reacts
to and interats with others.
The Big Five Personality Model
• The Big five Personality dimensions provide a very broad
overview of some one's personailty.
• Personality pshychologists are interested in what
differentiates one person from another and why we
behave the way that we do .
BIG FIVE PERSONALITY MODLE
• Personality is usually broken into components called the
BIG Five , which are ,
• Openness to Experience
• Conscientiousness
• Agreeabeness
• Extroversion
• Neurocticism ( or Emotionality)
Openness to Experience
• It is one of the ''BIG Five'' personality factors which means
being creative and open to new ideas .
• This factor indicates how open mind a person is , they
have creative thinking and have flexible attitude .
Conscientiousness
• Conscientiousness is used to describe the degree to
which person is organized , how discipline he or she is
and can also describe how careful person is in certain
situation .
• The tendency to be careful , on time for appointments , to
follow rules , and to be very hardworking .
Agreeableness
• A Personality that
describes the individual's
personalit .
• Someone with
agreeableness factor is
good natured cooperative
and trusting .
Extraversion
• Extraversion is Defined as a Behavior where some one
enjoys being arond people more than being alone .
• Experience positive emotional states and feeling good
abbout oneself and the word around one is extraversion .
• An Example of Extraversion is when someone always
likes to be around people and enjoys being the center of
attention .
Emotion Stability ( Neuroticism )
• Emotional stability refers
to the ability of an
individual to control his/her
emotions at the time of
crisis ..

personality traits .Managers can use the validated measures in this
study to identify their personailty traits and assign them into
different groups according to their traits .
• By doing this action , it can improve their work Behaviors .
