What is Perception?
• Perception is a process by which individuals
organize and interpret their sensory
impressions in order to give meaning to their
environment.
What factor influence Perception ?
• Three factors which influence our perception are
–
1. Perceiver (Attitude, Motive, Interest, Experience, Expectation)
2. Target(Novelty, Motion, Sounds, Size, Background, Proximity, Similarity)
3. Situation (Time, Work setting, social Setting)

whether an individual’s behavior is internally
or externally caused.
• Our perception and judgment of a person’s
action, will significantly be influenced by the
assumptions we make about that person’s
internal state.
To Err is Human. Why?
• Fundamental attribution error –
Underestimating the influence of external
factor and Overestimating the influence of
internal factor.

Failure because of them .

biryani from XYZ hotel
