Imagine once again that you are an automobile manufacturing executive tasked with increasing sales in your state. You wish to do a qualitative study to obtain the perspective of sales personnel regarding an incentive program you implemented at few dealerships that quantitatively proved to be successful. The three sources of data for your case study are individual semi-structured interviews, archival documents, and field observations. What are the most significant strengths and weaknesses of the methods for collecting data from these data sources? Why are these significant? What skills are needed to collect the data effectively? Explain. What concerns do you have about the feasibility of implementing these methods of data collection for this study? Explain.

STUDENT ANSWER- In the scenario for the automobile manufacturing company and the perspective of the sales personnel using the semi-structured interview, field observations, and archival documents would have positives and negatives. The semi-structured interview provides an opportunity for in-depth, open-ended questions (Steffes & Jacobs, 2021). The researcher can stray from the established questions, which allows for follow-up questions. A weakness might be the time it takes to interview all the participants, conduct the interview, and the researcher's bias. Field observations can not be recorded as they occur and rely on the researcher's memory. The researcher needs to record the evidence quickly after the event (Steffes & Jacobs, 2021). Finally, archival documents need approval before they are used. For our scenario, looking at companies implementing an incentive program would benefit the research. The data will provide a rich description of the participants. The researcher must be familiar with the research but not provide bias when conducting the research. Some considerations need to be made when collecting data. Modality, time of the interview, if they are recorded, and sharing the purpose of the interview must be disclosed to those participating in the research. Concerns about the feasibility would be money, time, and the number of participants.

Introduction
Autism researchers continue to grapple with activities that best serve the purpose of fostering positive interpersonal relationships for children with autism. Children have benefited from therapy sessions that provide ongoing activities to aid their ability to engage in healthy social interactions. However, less is known about how K–12 schools might implement programs for this group of individuals to provide additional opportunities for growth, or even if and how school programs would be of assistance in the end. There is a gap in understanding the possibilities of implementing such programs in schools to foster the social and mental health of children with autism. The six articles I selected for this assignment present research on different types of therapeutic programs that have been used to promote social interactions in children with autism.

Wimpory, D. C., & Nash, S. (1999). Musical interaction therapy – therapeutic play for children with autism. Child Language and Teaching Therapy, 15(1), 17–28. https://doi.org/10.1177/026565909901500103
Wimpory and Nash provided a case study
for implementing music interaction therapy as part of play therapy aimed at cultivating communication skills in infants with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The researchers based their argument on films taken of play-based therapy sessions that introduced music interaction therapy. To assess the success of music play, Wimpory and Nash filmed the follow-up play-based interaction between the parent and the child. The follow-up interactions revealed that 20 months after the introduction of music play, the child developed prolonged playful interaction with both the psychologist and the parent. The follow-up films also revealed that the child initiated spontaneously pretend play during these later sessions. After the introduction of music, the child began to develop appropriate language skills.
Since the publication date for this case study is 1999, the results are dated. Although this study found that music interaction therapy is useful, emerging research in the field has undoubtedly changed in the time since this article was published. Wimpory and Nash wrote this article for a specific audience, including psychologists and researchers working with infants diagnosed with ASD. Their focus means that others beyond these fields may not find the findings applicable to their work.
I am interested in the role of music in therapy to foster social and mental health in children with ASD. Therefore, Wimpory and Nash’s research is useful to me for background information on the implementation of music into play-based therapy in infants with ASD. Wimpory and Nash presented a basis for this t ...

An Inquiry on the Self-Esteem and Self-Efficacy Level of Information Technolo...IJAEMSJORNAL
This study aimed to identify, analyze and determine the level of self-efficacy and self-esteem of B.S. Information Technology (BSIT) students of a higher learning institution in Nueva Ecija, Philippines. It was conducted during the 1st Semester of the academic year 2019-2020. This research utilized descriptive approach to describe the level of self-esteem and self-efficacy of the students and to draw valuable insights that may contribute to the improvement of the teaching and learning practices of the faculty members in the college. The researchers used random sampling to ensure that all year levels are well represented in the study. There were 285 students who voluntarily responded after the researchers explained to them the purpose of this study. Responses were tallied, summarized and interpreted. Results show that the level of self-esteem and self-efficacy of the students were moderate/medium (WM=2.03, WM=2.08). This indicates that depending on the given situation or context, students may increase or decrease the level of their self-esteem and self-efficacy. This study suggest that students may be exposed to more activities that may help them improve their self-esteem and self-efficacy to greatly contribute to their holistic development. Future studies may be conducted to a larger number of respondents and to understand the link between self-efficacy and self-esteem on their academic performance, drop-out rates, and retention rates.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
