This document summarizes a study on partially replacing sand with quarry dust in concrete mixes for box culverts. The study tested M20 and M25 concrete mixes with 20%, 30%, 40%, and 50% replacements of sand with quarry dust. Slump tests and compressive strength tests were conducted on concrete cubes at 7 and 28 days. Results showed that 40% replacement of sand with quarry dust yielded the highest strength for M20 and M25 mixes, with strengths decreasing at 50% replacement. The study aims to find an affordable alternative to natural sand and address issues of sand depletion and quarry dust disposal.
