 This issue was not taken serious unless afterWW2 (Industrial revolution)—authors
started about the environmental issues.
 They noticed that the fossil fuels are depleting and they aren't renewable.
 Then there were some gases that were warming up the environment.

 1st Earth Conference--eastern coast of Brazil and
western region of Atlantic; Rio de Janeiro.They

1982 and 1992 respectively. Majority of countries
showed seriousness. Which resulted in
MONTREAL PROTOCOL and KYOTOTREATY.
 After 2o years, 4th Earth Summit was called

Many countries made so many pledges and
this ultimately led all countries to
PARIS AGREEMENT.

UNFCCC, became one of the largest gathering ofWorld leaders.
 All the attendants came up clear vision of cutting of their emissions.These are
known as, “intended nationally determined contributions” – INDCs
Paris Agreement became effective on 4th November, 2016 when fifty five
nations signed the agreement. Basically, it spooked the huge pollution-
producing countries on the tables and they made vows to reduce the green-
house emission. After that, there were more signatures. Global response for
lowering the carbon emission was echoing everywhere.

 Lower the emission of green house gases by introducing eco-friendly
environment and equipment for any kind of production.
 Restrict the net-warming of this global below the 2° Celsius, and if
possible – under 1.5° Celsius.

claiming that this environmental issues are just hoax to bring down
our economy.
 Aftermaths
 Funding will be bitten out with her absence

 The real risk developed here is, developing

industrialized governments,This can deter
negotiations in future times, as nations
would have no trust on developed nations.

 Due to the swift developments in India and China, these both countries
were considered as obstacles for mitigating the climate changes.
 Both countries have really played crucial role dampening the warming
effect of climate as they have invested a lot in clean energy projects that are
eco-friendly.

Morally Criminal Act.”
 Chinese President Xi Jinping called this
framework convention on climate changes
a “hard-won achievement.”

Chunying has said that they are going to continue their
innovation and usage of green energy, that does not
matter what other countries are doing regarding to that
scenario.
 Meanwhile in India – there are so many projects that are
being constructed for green energy and their estimated
production will be 175 Giga-watts by 2022. Moreover to
that, solar cell projects are elongated in numbers too,
where sun is hot and weather is dry. Coal projects has been
ceased. According to their new drafts--India’s energy
minister, Piyush Goyal has uttered that India is committed
to Paris Agreement vow.

and India
According to Chinese professor ofTianjin University and
Director of China Academy of Energy, industrial and
Environmental Economics has said that China is willing
to be “co-operator” or “pusher” for small economies to
go green unlike President Obama who tried for out-front
authority. He further said, China will contribute
financially in smaller countries.
 These two countries – China and India – are also willing
to share their knowledge and methodologies to smaller
countries rather than forming humongous funds, so they
can play well for betterment of environment. Like, India
has initiated the program for small countries – Platform
for sun-rich countries. For that Pande has said:
“It will be different flavor of leadership.”
