- Rushing river, slow motion, low scale
lighting, lip syncing
- A food market setting up in the morning as
a boy falls in love with a girl
- Franny* playing harp. Narrative, slow and
fast, love story
- Long cinematic cuts, performance only one
guy in shot with good view behind/ in
forest at beginning. Cuts to shots of nature
- Boat being tossed around in a storm
- Break up. Trying to help someone
- Deceiving with many shots, quick cuts
- Narrative beginning, slow motion as song
builds, cuts between narrative/
performance
- Driving in car with band in the back
- Possible performance, soft glow lighting, introduce instruments with shots when they
come in
- Close ups of someone playing acoustic, black and white shots of walking through New

shouting and guy. He can’t hear because he’s a ghost

*” Franny” is a friend, musician and actress.
ON REFLECTION:
I have found that there are a range of interpretations to the song; some positive and useful
for the development of my idea however some of them I will discard as it doesn’t follow the

2. ideas which I’m going to peruse. The majority of the ideas are effective to me, linking the
genre and the existing ideas in mind. The ideas which I am planning to keep in mind are ones
of a narrative and conceptual nature as those are the ideas which link to my own. Ideas
which have performance in it are, sadly, going to be discarded as I do not want to follow the
idea. The idea of given the use of a female lead actress is one which I plan to use as well.
