Transients produced during circuit breaker operations
have undesirable consequences to the equipment
itself and to the network as a whole. So to reduce or
eliminate the transients, mitigation techniques should
be used, analysed and optimized. One of them has
emerged about 30 years ago and has proven since
then to be more effective and reliable in most of the
cases: Controlled Switching (CS) of circuit-breaker
(CB).
A part of the CS knowledge which was relatively new
at that time was gathered and published more than
14 years ago by CIGRE WG A3.07 in Electra papers
and in three Technical Brochures. This WG A3.07
also performed a worldwide survey of applications
of controlled switching by reviewing the number of
controllers supplied by major manufacturers.

Simulation DC Motor Speed Control System by using PID Controllerijtsrd
Speed control system is the most common control algorithm used in industry and has been universally accepted in industrial control. One of the applications used here is to control the speed of the DC motor. Controlling the speed of a DC motor is very important as any small change can lead to instability of the closed loop system. The aim of this thesis is to show how DC motor can be controlled by using PID controller in MATLAB. The development of the PID controller with the mathematical model of DC motor is done using automatic tuning method. The PID parameter is to be test with an actual motor also with the PID controller in MATLAB Simulink. In this paper describe the results to demonstrate the effectiveness and the proposed of this PID controller produce significant improvement control performance and advantages of the control system DC motor. Induction motor is a veritable machine in the industries today, since is the most widely used electric motor in the
industry. It offers a reasonable performance, manageable torque/speed characteristics and a better efficiency. The aim of this
paper is to examine a comparative analysis of a three phase induction motor for performance evaluation. The computer simulation
and experimental methods were used to carry out the investigations, validation and evaluation of the behavioural characteristics of
the machine. The simulation and experimental results obtained were compared to validate the results obtained from the
experimental method. It was shown that the results from the simulation and experimental methods were in agreement with the
theoretical values of the three phase induction motor. Thus, the results indicated that the relative errors were negligible and the
proposed simulation models accurately predict the equivalent circuit parameters of the induction motor.
Mainly the DC motors are employed in most of the application. The main objective is to Regulate the DC motor system. A motor which displays the appearances of a DC motor but there is no commutator and brushes is called as brushless DC motor. These motors are widespread to their compensations than other motors in relationships of dependability, sound, efficiency, preliminary torque and longevity. To achieve the operation more reliable and less noisy, brushless dc motors are employed. In the proposed work, dissimilar methods of speed control are analysed. In real time submission of speed control of BLDC motor, numerous strategies are executed for the speed control singularity. The modified approaches are the employment of PI controller, use of PID controller and proposed current controller.

Power factor correction (PFC) is a process of negotiating the unwanted effects of electric loads that create a power factor less than one. Power factor correction may be applied either by an electrical power transmission utility to enhance the efficiency of transmission network. In this paper three transformers of different ratings have been used which acts as inductive load each of which produce different power factor variation. The power factor of the supply line is directly monitored by the Power Meter which is connected in parallel to the supply line. The value of the capacitance (capacitor bank) required for correcting the power factor variation due to each transformer and their combination is found out separately. Capacitor bank for the respective load is triggered by using PLC.

Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.

transformer. The faults detect by DGA is based on
measuring of partial discharge in insulation system
of transformer.
Partial Discharge (PD) may occur small arcs within
the insulation system and it destroys the insulation
and can lead to breakdown of insulation.
