This document outlines the agenda and content for a two-day strategic management of HR training. Day One will cover an introduction to strategy management, developing the HR strategy intent by establishing the department's vision, mission and values. It will also cover analyzing the HR strategy situation by reviewing past/current strategies and brainstorming future scenarios. Day One will conclude by focusing the HR strategy and linking it to corporate strategies. Day Two will cover formulating, implementing, evaluating, and drafting the annual HR strategic plan. The training will utilize several strategic planning tools and frameworks including the balanced scorecard, SWOT analysis, and SOAR analysis.
