2. Video promoting the whole
brand and the work that they
do.
Constant
promotion of the
brand logo so it
continues to be
recognised more
and more.
Highlights the Bauer
Academy to promote it more
than anything, so that they
continue to engage with
people looking to join their
group.
Offers lots of
information on
everything about the
company, such as the
recent news on the
company and case
studies.
Not much text at all for the
home page, meaning
audiences have to keep clicking
through to find the
information.
3. Offers a number of examples
of the kind of fashion and
clothing that the magazine
promotes.
Highlights the subscription
button in an attempt t
entice more people into
paying for a subscription.
Offers more basic
information
compared to
Bauer, mainly
offering purely
fashion based
articles rather than
the company’s
history or an
academy like
Bauer.
Interesting to the target
audience, using female models
as that will be 99% of the
audience.
Largest font promoting the brand name
and logo, much larger than all other
fonts.
4. I chose this example
because it was so much
different compared to all
the other magazine
websites I’ve seen.
Offers no information
on the front cover,
meaning you have to
click forward in order
to find out anything
about the brand.
Presents the front cover of the
most recent issue that they
released, helping people
understand what to lookout for on
the shelves.
Can scroll through the bar
at the top where it offers
questionnaires to help
them understand what
people want. It also has
the brand logo and shows
what other magazines they
make.
My personal opinion is
that the lack of colours
and so much dead space
in the front makes the
website seem very dull,
which then makes my
expectations on the
whole magazine that it
would be dull.
