Most of my respondents were female.
80% were female and only 20% were
male. Whilst distributing my
questionnaires, I should’ve given 5
males a questionnaire each and 5
females a questionnaire to avoid a
bias result.

My collection of data reveals
that the preferred music genre
is pop, revealing that 80%
prefer this genre of music.
Only 10% enjoys Indie and
only another 10% enjoys rap
music. None of my recipients
preferred rock or classical

read by my respondents. 60%
preferred Billboard and only
10% would wish to read Q
magazine. MoJo,Kerrang and

5. Which of the following
mastheads do you prefer?
For my music magazine that I have
created myself. I asked my
respondents which masthead they
prefer. The most preferred masthead
was ‘Beats’ resulting in 40%
preferring this to the other mastheads.
‘Shuffle’ had 30% the second highest
vote. However, the other mastheads a
small percentage of readers preferred
were ‘Plugged in,’ and also ‘Rhythm.’
None of my respondents preferred the
masthead ‘Chords.’
