Gas is a unit used in Ethereum that measures the amount of computational effort required to execute a transaction or smart contract. Every operation on the Ethereum network has an associated gas cost. While gas is used to measure computational work, fees are actually paid in ether using a gas price. The total fee paid is calculated as gas used multiplied by gas price. Gas ensures transactions pay appropriately for their computational requirements and prevents spam on the network. Running out of gas results in transaction failure, while providing too little gas price means a transaction won't be included in a block.

Blockchain consensus algorithms
Blockchain consensus algorithms allow distributed networks to agree on a single transaction history. ByzCoinX provides intra-shard consensus and Atomix enables cross-shard transactions using a UTXO model and BlockDAG. OmniLedger aims to preserve security and decentralization while providing Visa-level throughput and low latency transactions. Formal security proofs were not provided.

The blockchain is a public transaction ledger built in a network structure based on cryptographic principles so there does not need to be a centralized intermediary. Any kind of asset (art, car, home, financial contract) may be encoded into the blockchain and transacted, validated, or preserved in a much more efficient manner than at present including ideas, health data, financial assets, automobiles, and government documents. Blockchain technology applies well beyond cryptocurrencies, economics, and markets to all venues of human information processing, collaboration, and interaction including art, health, and literacy.
How do bitcoin transactions work?
Transactions work by spending outputs from previous transactions as inputs. A transaction contains inputs which reference the specific outputs being spent, and outputs which send funds to new addresses. If the input amount is greater than the output amount, the difference is considered a transaction fee paid to miners. Transactions often include a change output that returns unspent funds back to an address controlled by the sender. Wallets track unspent transaction outputs and can combine multiple UTXOs as inputs to a new transaction if a single UTXO does not cover the full amount being sent. Signatures in the transaction prove the sender owns the inputs and authorize spending them.

Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software Fuzzing
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.

Mule Concur Connector
- 1. MULE CONCUR CONNECTOR BY – ANKUSH SHARMA
- 2. WHAT IS CONCUR CONNECTOR? • The Concur connector is a closed-source connector that provides a connection between Mule and third-party SaaS from SAP, called Concur. It implements SOAP calls to different API versions, depending on the Concur API.
- 3. PRE-REQUISITES • In order to run the connector and build the demo applications you need the following: • Developer Sandbox or other valid Concur account. • Anypoint Studio
- 4. CREATE CONCUR DEVELOPER SANDBOX ACCOUNT (CONT.) • Create an account on https://developer.concur.com/register. When you create a Sandbox for the first time, you will be run through the Setup Wizard to configure your instance of Concur to meet your specific requirements. There are some specific requirements to ensure that all the APIs provided with this Connector work correctly: • Any expenses you want to use when submitting Expense Reports MUST have Expense Codes configured. • The user that you use to configure the Connector’s Credentials must have a manager, who is configured to Approve Expenses, if you want to be able to submit Expense Reports • Log into https://www.concursolutions.com using your newly created account (or your previously existing Concur account if you are not using a developer sandbox). • In the Concur Dashboard, choose the Administration menu, and then "Web Services"
- 5. CREATE CONCUR DEVELOPER SANDBOX ACCOUNT • Choose "Register Partner Application" • Choose New and provide a name and description. Make sure the partner application is set to "Active", and tick the APIs you want to enable access to. It is important that you have enabled access for the APIs you want to use. In this case, we will select them all. Note down the Key andSecret values and select OK

MULE CONCUR CONNECTOR – CONFIGURATION WIZARD (GENERAL TAB) • Following are the options on general tab – • Display Name – The name of the component to be displayed in Mule flow. • Connector Configuration – Reference to the global connector configuration. • Operation – The operation to be executed on server.
