It is the driving force which stimulates an individual
to initiate or sustain a Behavior.

Motivation is a generalized term while, Motives is specific term. A motive is an agent of
motivation.
“Motive is the concrete reason for taking action”
Whereas
“Motivation is a whole process itself”

External motivation:
