3. What is a Resume/purpose?
A resume is a formal document that provides an overview of your professional qualifications,
including your relevant work experience, skills, education, and notable accomplishments.
Purpose:
Good Resume gets you a foot in the door, its up to you to sell yourself in person
An opportunity to show an employer why you are an ideal candidate for the job.
Draw attention to your relevant skills, experience, achievements and potential

The top of your resume should include the following information:

6. Career Objective
Objective shows your sense of direction. Your career objective is short summary in
one or two lines about –
“the position you are applying for
relevant experience
how will I make your company successful
For Example:
To obtain a position of graphic designer in advertising where I can utilize my
knowledge of design and time management skills in order to make industry successful.
7. Experience
list any relevant work experience you have.
Include your title, the company you worked for, years worked, and a bulleted list of
your key responsibilities and notable successes.

Education Include in your education section:
• The names of your university, community college, or technical school
