• To change our lifestyle we must change
our thinking habits
• We can change our thinking habits by
focusing on desired goals.
Lessons:
•Others can stop you temporarily, you are
the only one who can do it permanently.
•The mind completes whatever picture we
put into it.
•Nothing is particularly hard if you divide
it into small jobs.
•Luck is what happens when your EFFORT
meets opportunity.

• Camaraderie
• Responsibility
• Growth
• Recognition & Rewards
• Leadership & Empowerment
To motivate your subordinate
Remember:
• When you don’t care, they don’t care.
• Always give credit where credit is due.
• Too many rules impede morale.
• Lead by example.
• Motivation is rarely self-sustaining, it
must be re-ignited regularly.
• Create a workplace free of prejudices.
To motivate your Boss
Remember:
• Don’t expect your boss to be perfect. Accept his
errors graciously and and he is likely to do the
same for you.
• Give more than you have to. Don’t be on time; be
early.Don’t meet requirements; exceed them.

• Make your request and trust your boss to
evaluate it seriously.
• Listen more than you talk.

intend to keep.
• Involve in team actions to the fullest.
• You should take tasks suited to your talent.
• Make team mission your mission.
• The rewards of success must be shared equally
among all whatever their level of contribution.
Characteristics of Achievement oriented
people
• They are generally emotionally mature.
• They like taking up challenges and are risk takers.
• They plan their work and constantly work for the
achievement of the goals.
• They learn from experience and feedback.
• They want to be recognized and rewarded.
• They are flexible
Characteristics of Achievement oriented
people
• They seek problems because they need
opportunities.
• They know that working smart is required
in addition to working hard.
• They aim for progress before perfection.
• Look for opportunities to innovate in the
work.
This story teaches two lessons:
There is the power of life & death in the tongue. An
encouraging word to someone who is down, can lift them up
and help them make it through the day.
A destructive word to someone who is down can be what it
takes to kill them.
Be careful of what you say. Speak life to those who cross your
path.
The power of words ... it is sometimes hard to understand.
An encouraging word can go such a long way.
Anyone can speak words that tend to rob another of the spirit
to continue in difficult times. Special is the individual who will
take the time to encourage another.
