This document discusses foreign body airway obstruction, including its causes, types, and classification. It can result from improper chewing of food, alcohol intake, loose dentures, or children eating while running. There are two types - anatomical obstruction and mechanical obstruction when foreign objects lodge in the airways. Obstructions are classified as mild if the victim can cough but has wheezing, or severe if the victim cannot speak, breathe, or cough. The Heimlich maneuver is recommended to relieve severe obstructions.
