■ Modules prepared in different forms. Written, slides pictures etc.
■ Modules are sub divided in to needs of students
■ It provide self evaluation and self study

■ Learning activities should make use of community resources
■ Subject is presented in interesting manner
■ Provide opportunity for the learner to interact with students and
community

Developing a module
– Identify the target group
– Identify learning needs of the group
– Identify entry behavior
– Assessment of entry behavior through pre-test
– Teaching frames including objectives, learning activities,
formative evaluation and summative evaluation
– Try out of the module
– Revision and finalization of the module
Limitations
■ Students needs are different
■ Printing cost is high
■ Formate of module is re-usable for a number of years
