Leave Policy The employee will be entitled to take leave for personal, medical or special reasons up to a maximum of 12 days per annum Casual Leave One leave per month is allowed 12 days in a one year cycle More than one day is loss of Pay No carry forward to next year 10 days National Holidays as per Holiday list Privilege Leave 18 days per Annum Applicable only after completion of 1 year Carry forward is allowed up to maximum 1 year Note- Casual Leave and Privilege Leave cannot be taken together
Attendance Policy It is the responsibility of the employee to ensure attendance and punctuality at work. Employee will have to send his/her attendance tracker on a monthly basis to  their Account Manager/ Reporting Manager (exception to the same being Corporate and Lucent). Late coming (For Corporate) Habitual late coming is a serious breach of discipline for all Employees. Late coming thrice or more a month will amount to loss of pay. In case of delay due to unforeseen circumstances, the reporting manager  needs to be informed regarding the same.
Confirmation & Performance   Appraisals   Probation Period and Confirmation Appraisal For all employees probation is for a period of six months from the Date Of Joining post which there will be auto confirmation unless there is a prior communication regarding probation extension to the employee. An employee would be eligible for the appraisal once he completes one year with the organization. Two Performance Appraisal cycles in a year April Cycle  – employees joining between January – June are covered October Cycle  – employees joining between July – December are covered
All the employees whose gross salary is less than INR 15000/- are covered under ESIC Employees are issued a temporary ID card from the corporate office after their joining Employees have to submit one postcard size family photograph and get it endorsed from the corporate office after attaching it to the temporary ID card Male – Can nominate mother, father, Wife & Children if they are married or else only parents. Female – Can nominate mother and father if they are unmarried. If married they can nominate husband, children, father-in-law & mother-in-law. Temporary card is valid only for 3 months. Within this time the employee has to visit the ESIC office and get his permanent ID card done. ESIC
Group Insurance Policy All the employees (except employees covered under ESI) are covered under  Group Mediclaim Policy of 1 Lakh  and  Personal Accident Policy of 2 Lakhs . Name of the Insurer – Oriental Insurance Company Limited An employee is covered under Group Insurance once he completes 21 days in the system. An employee covered under Group Insurance will get a Medi-assist card from the company.
Separation & Exit Policy Notice period of 45 days is mandatory for all employees below assistant lead level  Notice period of 60 days is mandatory for all employees above assistant lead level  Notice period cannot be adjusted with any leaves. Smart Step Policy MindRiver Internship Program - Opportunity for Fresher's who have the following qualification. BE in Electronics & Communication, Computer Science B.Sc in Computer Science They will be provided on the job training in the field of “Systems  Administration” – Windows, Network, Linux and Unix Candidate needs to give a commitment for a minimum period of 15/18 months to the company. Referrals “Get a Buddy” Eligible employees will be entitled to referral bonus as per the “GET A BUDDY...” referral program . Employee can earn Rs. 1000 for every referrals he makes. This money would be credited to the employee post completion of 3 month of the New Colleague in the organization. If the referral is for SmartStep the employee can earn Rs500. Policy on Salary Advance & Salary Salary Advance  Eligibility after completion of Probation. Advance of 50% of the employee’s salary after completion of 15 days of work for the month. Recovery of salary advance will be done in same month. Salary  Salary will be credited on 5th of every Month in the employee’s official bank account. If 5th is a holiday then the salary date would shift to the next bank working day of the month.  Salary is to be treated as confidential information and no communication regarding salary details to be done with colleagues and other staffs. Salary slip of a month will be emailed to the employee on 12 th  of every   month by the finance team.
Employee Recreation & Loyalty Incentive Lunch With CEO All the New joiners are invited for the Lunch with CEO. It happens on the last Friday of every month. Greetings  HR sends Welcome mail to all new joiners on their first day in the organization. HR sends birthday greetings to all employees on their birthday to their official/personal email ID. HR sends congratulations mail to employees who have completed 3 / 5 / 7 years etc. with the organization. Service Completion Bonus Employees who have completed 3 / 5 / 7  years of service are duly recognized and acknowledged by the organization for their loyalty and commitment towards the organization. The bonus amount as decided by the Management is provided to the concerned employee every year in the month of October.
Work Culture Dress Code Business Attire: Business Attire is applicable from Monday to Thursday. The following dress code applies to Business Attire. Ladies are expected to be dressed in saree or salwar / churidar kameez, or western business formals. Gentlemen are expected to dress in business formals, i.e., a full / half-sleeved shirt, formal trousers and formal leather shoes (brown, black or tan).
