● Usually divided in to 2 parts:
○ NE - network element
○ Monitoring server -> to monitor the NE
● Example protocol
○ SNMP
○ RouterOS

FCAPS
● Fault: Dont let customer knows our problem first
● Configuration: make sure the configuration is correct
● Accounting: usage monitoring
● Performance: highest peak, SLA (service level agreement)

You need to add a dude policy on routerOS user, so that they can access the
dude server from the dude client

Things to consider
● Disk space on RouterBOARDS!!
○ Its not recommend to install the dude on small and checp mikrotik devices, because:
■ The dude requires CPU procesing
■ The dude will eat up space there
● Regular Backups
● Use secure mode
