Evaluation Part 4

Who would be the audience for
    your media product?
My ideal reader
This would be my ideal reader for my media product. My
magazine is designed to appeal to those from an Indie social
group of people. I believe my magazine appeals more to
females as it reveals gossip sections on recent popular music
artists. However, certain sections of the magazine would appeal
to male readers. For example the listings of upcoming music
festivals and gigs. The age range for my magazine is 16-25. I
believe most readers would be young adults around 18-19
years of age. This is due to the sometimes complicated
language and chatty style of text. I consider my ideal reader to
be a student, either at school or university. Academic but
relaxed. They would have a busy lifestyle but enjoys to have fun
at the same time. They would attend music gigs and festivals
frequently and be very educated with music. They would usually
socialise in a big group of people and have a specific fashion
sense. The fashion would unique but not grungy or untidy like
some other genres of social groups. Most would be well brought
up and considered middle class or above. I believe they would
be part of social networking sites for example; Twitter.
