This document summarizes a seminar on customer insights and behavior trends in Indonesia presented by Iwan Setiawan. The seminar covered 9 trends in customer behavior in Indonesia, including how deals help justify unnecessary consumption and how faster product adoption leads to shorter lifecycles. It also discussed two classic tests that show customers can be irrational - the Stanford Marshmallow Test and the Penn and Teller Bottled Water Test. Additionally, it reviewed how to use customer insight tools including qualitative research approaches and sampling techniques. Three case studies of companies innovating based on customer insights in Indonesia were also presented.
Outside In - Behaviour Driven Development (BDD)Naresh Jain
The BDD Workshop offers a comprehensive, hands-on introduction to behavior driven development via an interactive-demo.
Over the past decade, eXtreme Programming practices like Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) have fundamentally changed software development processes and inherently how engineers work. Practitioners claim that it has helped them significantly improve their collaboration with business, development speed, design & code quality and responsiveness to changing requirements. Software professionals across the board, from Internet startups to medical device companies to space research organizations, today have embraced these practices.
This workshop explores the foundations of TDD & BDD with the help of various patterns, strategies, tools and techniques.
Strategic Management- New Music Venue in Bridgewater, MABCronin2
This Powerpoint presentation is the work of Patrick McHugo, student at Bridgewater State University, along with myself, Brendan Cronin. McHugo and I presented this slideshow in our Strategic Management course, to show the steps in the corporate decision-making process.
While the details in this document are specific to this music venue idea, the process can be used in determining whether or not to start up any kind of business. This includes: Thorough Environmental Scanning, Strategy Formulation, and Strategy Implementation. If this were an existing business or evaluation criteria were in place, there would also be Strategy Evaluation.
This slideshow shows, in detail, the specific charts & steps in making any large, strategic decision.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

What customers say and what they do are at times contradictory:
• Sometimes it’s their justification
• Sometimes it’s counterbalance
• Sometimes they just don’t want to say what they do
“What they do” is always the right insight!
Observation without purpose is meaningless
Observation without inference is naïve
Observation with inference is the true meaning of “
finding insight”
