1. Master Zig TC
- Master Zig is a 25 year old rapper, living in
Hackney.
- His songs are generally written about his lower
class upbringing
- Currently managed by his older brother
- He has begun making a name for himself via
pirate radio throughout the East London area.
- Also has done some work as an MC in the past
- He plans on releasing his debut single
sometime in the near future titled, ‘She ain’t
your mama.’
2. - Our artist wants his image to reflect that of some of the newer hip-hop artists such as
B.o.B in the sense that he is known as an artist who wants people to listen to the lyrics
and not revolve around his image.
- His image has always been chilled and laid back, he doesn’t want to turn his back on
the current fans by changing his appearance in the media.

3. Marketing
- If we were to receive the £250,000 contract with your record label, we would
invest the money into creating our own web space.
- By investing the money in this area of the market it would allow us to improve our
artists reputation and become a globally recognized artist within the music world.
- We believe that the internet is the most effective way of promoting our artist as
this way we can show him to the widest audience.
- Once we feel we have achieved a large enough fan base, we would release a
single which would be available through iTunes.
4. • Our main target audience i.e. 16-21 year old males spend so much time online that this
would be the most likely way they would listen to his music through the use of iTunes
andYouTube.
• He has his own MySpace page, where his songs will be available to listen and download free
of charge, as promotional material.
• As more fans subscribe to his MySpace, we would look into to having small promotional
gigs, where some of his latest music would be on display.
5. - We would look into getting our artist air time on such shows as BBC “One show” and
BBC radio one.
- With the mixture ofTelevision, Radio and internet we would promote Master ZigTC.
- At first we would look to be putting him on as a ‘warm up’ act for some of the larger
artists on your label, but also having him perform his own piece on some music
festivals.
- I believe that by putting him on at minor festivals it is the best way of reaching his
target audience as currently far more youths go to festivals than concerts.
