MOVE FORWARD
MUSIC
Move Forward Music is a Brooklyn-based integrated
marketing and event production agency specializing
in live music and experiential events.
We connect artists and brands with fans by creating
unique experiences based around music, art and live
performance.
We approach every event as an opportunity to make
a positive contribution to culture and to forge an
emotional connection with people that will last
forever.
Alex M. Damashek is a seasoned marketer & event
producer with 10+ years experience curating impact-
ful cultural activations in NY and beyond. Alex has
worked for historic music institutions like Webster
Hall and SOB’s, and has been instrumental in provid-
ing early performance platforms for artists like
Kendrick Lamar, Kid Cudi, Fetty Wap, and Young M.A.

ABOUT
The sounds of the UK, along with British expats in NYC,
found itself a home away from home in the shape of
Back to Life. The monthly club night was conceived to
"bring a slice of London to NY", infusing the dancefloor
with the best in garage, grime, broken beat, house, UK
funky and soul. Within just a year, the night has
attracted the likes of Idris Elba, Kindness, Daniel
Bedingfield, and Just Blaze. The party is always
packed to the rafters and has always managed to
capture the enigmatic energy of a grimy British club
night and transplant it to the US.
