1. To know the market of mobile phone and heart share of mobile brands in India.
2. To know the satisfaction level of existing customer from mobile phone.
3. To know the factors that attracts the customer to purchase the mobile phone.
4. To find out the potential customers of mobile phone in India.
5. To know the brand preference of the customer.
6. To know for what they prefer mobile phones.
7. To know at what age they desire for mobile phones.

INTRODUCTION
Mobile phone technology and communications have grown rapidly in some countries and at a
slower pace in others, and mobile communication laws and regulations are still evolving. Only a
few countries have addressed the legal parameters for unsolicited communication and interaction
with mobile phone users.
In many countries it can be impossible to identify whether a given
telephone number relates to a mobile or a fixed line phone and, in any event, a fixed-line number
may be set to divert to a mobile, making it impossible for the caller to know that they are calling
via a mobile phone. Some sections of this guideline may therefore be applicable to any form of
research via telephone even where the intent is not specifically to call a mobile.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Research in common refers to a search of knowledge. One can also define research as a scientific
& systematic search for pertinent information of a specific topic. It is the pursuit of truth with the
help of study observation, comparison & experiment.
METHOD OF DATA COLLECTION
The method of collection of data of this report is PRIMARY DATA.
Data for the project is collected from the primary sources. The Questionnaire was filled by the
consumer as a part of the survey.
SAMPLE PROFILE
The study is conducted in ALLAHABAD. For the purpose of study, a sample size of 30 numbers
of consumers was taken from different outlets of different markets of mobile phone. Random
sampling method has been used for the present study.

Today male and female both are use equally mobile phone.

Today people like Samsung and other brand phones, but still most people like Microsoft-Nokia,
especially old age peoples.

People prefer ‘ICON’ in main menu on their phone.
10. According to the purpose, people use their Mobile Phone.
Generally teenage people, give prefer to ‘games, Social Media Applications, music’, 19-30 age people
‘games, Social Media Applications, document reader(PDF/WORD),Email application ’, 31-49 age
people are working people, their preference’ document reader(PDF/WORD),Email application’ and after
that, their only motive to use mobile phone is to ‘ send/receive calls or sms’.

FINDINGS
 SAMSUNG is the most favorite brand of the people, mostly student and old age people
prefer NOKIA.
 51% students are ready to pay for a mobile phone less than 12,000 and they spend
according to their family income.
 Mostly students use the mobile phones for talking, SMS and games, Social Media
Applications, document reader (PDF/WORD), Email application, but old age persons use
mobile phones only for talking purpose.
 Most favorite brand among the college students is Samsung and the least favorite brand is
LG.
 Appearance, Price, Brand Image and product look are the important factors for the
students while purchasing SAMSUNG mobile phones.
 Mostly students prefer slim, medium in weight and large in size handset.
 Due to Android OS the people prefer the SAMSUNG brand.

CONCLUSION
 Samsung should provide better service to their customers.
 Cellular companies should adopt the android OS latest version.
 Companies should offer below the range of 10,000 mobile phone.
 Samsung should try to expand its market share and also should try to increase the
awareness through the television advertisement.
 All companies should increase their distribution channel.
 The companies should continue to work on the Strategy of T.Q.M (Total Quality
Management)
 Consumers do not get satisfied with the promotional policies of the companies. A new
technique of promotion is required to create awareness about the entire range of
companies’ products.

To know the satisfaction level of existing customer from mobile phone. 3. To know the factors that attracts the customer to purchase the mobile phone. 4. To find out the potential customers of mobile phone in India. 5. To know the brand preference of the customer. 6. To know for what they prefer mobile phones. 7. To know at what age they desire for mobile phones.
  • 5. 5 | P a g e A K A S H P A R T H S A T H I INTRODUCTION Mobile phone technology and communications have grown rapidly in some countries and at a slower pace in others, and mobile communication laws and regulations are still evolving. Only a few countries have addressed the legal parameters for unsolicited communication and interaction with mobile phone users. In many countries it can be impossible to identify whether a given telephone number relates to a mobile or a fixed line phone and, in any event, a fixed-line number may be set to divert to a mobile, making it impossible for the caller to know that they are calling via a mobile phone. Some sections of this guideline may therefore be applicable to any form of research via telephone even where the intent is not specifically to call a mobile.

One can also define research as a scientific & systematic search for pertinent information of a specific topic. It is the pursuit of truth with the help of study observation, comparison & experiment. METHOD OF DATA COLLECTION The method of collection of data of this report is PRIMARY DATA. Data for the project is collected from the primary sources. The Questionnaire was filled by the consumer as a part of the survey. SAMPLE PROFILE The study is conducted in ALLAHABAD. For the purpose of study, a sample size of 30 numbers of consumers was taken from different outlets of different markets of mobile phone. Random sampling method has been used for the present study.
