1. Marketing Operations Manager
Position Overview
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Marketing Operations Manager will focus on
developing, managing and executing operational processes and tasks in support of lead
generation programs. The individual will also have tactical responsibilities for various
marketing projects and will be expected to facilitate and build working relationships with
internal support organizations, including IT, Data Analysis, Marketing and Web Services.
Responsibilities
• Execute and streamline marketing workflows through automation, marketing operations
management analysis and ROI reporting
• Build a marketing dashboard and report on marketing operational metrics relating to
data in various databases
• Develop key processes to the support implementation of programs
• Provide management view into process changes/automation resulting in increased
measurable results
• Align internal operations management with stakeholders in IT, Web Services and
Marketing programs
• Streamline processes and integrate multiple systems to increase operational
efficiencies and visibility
• Work with Marketing Program Managers to scope and build new applications and
processes to increase lead flow to sales
• Assist in justifying program spend through formal business planning processes
• Annual Customer Segmentation Analysis with a focus on identifying net new business.
• Support outbound email strategy, planning and execution, including day to day
execution of email campaigns.
• Oversee the process of list pulls for outbound email campaigns, focusing on improving
the process through automation providing more visibility to email lists.
2. • Database enhancements and periodic testing of database software updates and new
version releases
• Ensure operations team needs are clearly scoped out and submitted to IT
• Prioritize and identify software updates
• Manage the marketing analytics classifications process to ensure marketing efforts are
properly being reported as the driving source
• Collaborate with Marketing Programs team and Operations to ensure file is updated on
a campaign by campaign basis
Job Requirements
• University degree or college diploma in business or a related field
• 5+ years experience in Marketing Operations Management
• High business and marketing acumen to exploit best marketing practices, yielding
results
• Proven ability to manage multiple disciplines
• Highly analytical with the ability to develop ROI metrics/dashboard
• Project Management experience
• Proven experience working with database, marketing automation and workflow
systems
• Ability to innovate and systematically improve process through automation
• Able to proactively streamline and automate workflow process and use analytics to
measure program success
• Ability to problem-solve/troubleshoot operational issues
• Ability to professionally interact with all levels of an organization
• Excellent presentation, communication and writing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems or business situations.
