This document discusses the vibration response characteristics of a 2 degree of freedom (DOF) system enhanced by the addition of a dual translational dynamic vibration absorber (D-DVA). Experimental and simulation results reveal that the D-DVA effectively reduces vibrations, with observed natural frequencies at 0.92 and 1.09, and RMS values of 9.81 m/s² and 15.25 m/s², respectively, while the error between experimental and simulation results is approximately 8.5%. The study emphasizes the benefits of using D-DVAs to minimize vibrations without requiring a major redesign of existing systems.
