Some causes of man-made disasters include ignorance, unawareness, illiteracy, and careless handling of dangerous situations. The worst man-made disasters in Bangladesh discussed are the 2013 Rana Plaza garment factory collapse that killed over 1,100 people, the 2012 Tazreen Fashions factory fire that killed 124 workers, and the 2010 Nimtoli electrical accident that killed 122 people.
