Personal Brand Exploration - Taylor MoizeTaylorMoize
Personal Brand Exploration is a project that I completed for Project and Portfolio: Personal Branding. This project gives some in-depth information in what I will pursue while I am in school but also after graduation.
Why hire me for your next project? The answer is in this presentation. It helps you get to know who I am, who I want to serve, and how I am different from other digital marketers. It gives you a glimpse into my career goals and my life's ambitions. As always, reaching for the stars requires us to seek a higher quality of life while asking others to join us.
The objective of this project was to help understand my personal brand and potential ways that I can improve on it. Everyone is unique and this helped to showcase me as a person. I learned that in the sports world I have a long ways to go when it comes to my competitors. I am not very active in social media, but this project helped to show me that putting my name and content out there more can only benefit me in terms of followers and recognition. This project challenged me to dig deep into who I am and where I want to go in life. I can say confidently, now, I have a clearer picture of how I want my time at Full Sail University to go and what I want to do in career in sports media.
This is a social media strategy report I created for a hypothetical sushi restaurant that was looking to open in State College, Pa. Created for COMM 497C: Social Media in Public Relations, December 2013.

What Facebook’s Algorithm Change
Means for Brands and the Future of Media
One of the main reasons people come to Facebook is to see what’s happening in their News Feeds. Our goal with News Feed has always been to show people the things they want to see. When people see content that’s relevant to them, they’re more likely to be engaged with News Feed, including stories from businesses.
That’s why we often look to people on Facebook to tell us how we can improve. As part of an ongoing survey, we asked hundreds of thousands of people how they feel about the content in their News Feeds. People told us they wanted to see more stories from friends and Pages they care about, and less promotional content.
Now we’re bringing new volume and content controls for promotional posts, so people see more of what they want from Pages.
By making News Feed more engaging for people — with Page post creative that is more relevant to them — we’re also creating a better platform for businesses to reach their customers and find new ones.
Why it still matter?
They offer a free, easy-to-maintain online presence for people to discover and learn about a your brand
They work across desktop, mobile and tablets without requiring any extra configuration, and contain complete information about a business
They also offer tools to create videos, photos and events that bring a business’ story to life
Many businesses also use Pages as a customer service channel
Businesses should think about their Page as a cornerstone of their online identity, not simply as a publishing service

Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.

18. This is the standard info page. The information here helps Facebook to index your page and let other people find you through Facebook’s search engine. You can include a lot of important information that people want to know on this tab like location, services, and payment methods.
19. This is an example of our Custom Menu System in FB Restaurant Suite. Prices, descriptions, and other info can be customized to fit your needs. The menu is interactive and changes as the mouse moves over different items. We can also change the design to fit your style or menu type. Each picture and title links to a larger image in the photo gallery where users mouths can water and share comments about how much they loved it or make a accompanying drink suggestion.
20. On the Specials Page you can easily list your daily specials or weekly events. You can also link to photo galleries or videos from previous events to help entice your potential customers You can also create “Fan’s Only” coupons: If a visitor has already become a “fan” he or she will see the coupon, but new visitors must first become a fan by clicking the “like” button. After they become a fan, you can better target them or interact with them even if they don’t come in the first time around because they will still be connected to your page!
21. Here is an example of an information page. In this case we are giving our visitors a profile of the head chef. Your restaurant provides more than just a meal, you provide a full experience. The more you tell customers about your, the more connected they feel. You can use information pages to tell your story or share just about anything. Remember to always be personal and to engage your customers. And don’t worry, we will help you and give you advice so you effectively reach your customers and fill those seats!
