2. Image
We used two images for the magazine. One
of the images is the same one we used in
our poster and the other one is a picture of
a man hidden behind a pile of folders.
The picture with man behind the sky gives a
sense of freedom whereas the man behind
the files gives a sense of being trapped. The
contrast between these two images is the
main idea of our short film.
The audience will be able to realise the
main idea of the film easily from these
magazine images.
These two images are very relatable to our
audience as we trapped under piles of
responsibilities and dying for our freedom.
3. Language
We used very simple English in our article which
is suitable for any type of audience. Complex
writings don’t only create confusion in audience
but also, it put them off from reading the rest of
the article. We also used interesting article
features such as pull quote, headline sub
header, paragraphs, columns. This is to make it
look pleasing to eyes as well as to show
professionalism.
This article gives the audience a little insight of
the actual film which helps to higher their
interest in reading the magazine as well as
watching the film when its released.
4. Design
Design of the magazine is very important as it
brings audience’s attention and tempt them to
read it. We used the same colour that was used
in the poster(White and light blue) and also
added few things, for instance, leaves and the
footprints in the magazine. The leaves are quite
significant to the magazine and film. Nature
represents freedom, flexibility, open space and
imagination. It also relates to the forest.
The footprints are effective as the main
character finds his own alternative route to
freedom.
