1. For my Digipak I used Photoshop to enhance my photos, including the sky, sea, and model. In all my digipak I used
different but similar photographs. I used these photographs of the sea and rocks because it my main footage
thoughout my video. I also chose to enhance the blue skies because it is always sunny and bright in my music
video. Therefore it fits well.
I feel my CD cover and poster go well together because of the consistent colour scheme. The location and model
are the same therefore when you see this advertising in different places you are able to see the rebalance between
both of them. I chose to use the same font and colour because it fits well with the background and it gives off a
clear message of what the actual product is. Therefore it also makes it easier for the audience to see which is
which. The reason I chose the same model for both the poster and CD cover was because she is the main person
you see throughout my video therefore if they see her on a poster they will know straight away what it is.
This is a screenshot from my music video. As you can
see I shot most of my video by the sea and this is why I
included it in my digipak. In the video she wears the
staple white dress, which is a recognisable trait within
my video and throughout my digipak. All 3 fit together
as I have kept the simplicity making it not easy to miss.
The front I chose is simple but effective. It makes it
clear and does not ruin the photography behind it.
In comparison to other indie rock album covers I feel I have
captured the same Idea of concentrating on one or two
bright vibrant colours but it being simple with the picture
they use. From my research the text on the front of Indie
Rock album covers are very minimal and sometime they
have none at all. However I feel my cover and poster do
challenge the other album covers, as most are quite dark in
the sense they use greys and black. There are such a variety
of indie rock album examples that I only picked out the
main features for inspiration for my own.
