This document discusses Telefonica's support for Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) networks. It believes LPWA networks will enable new Internet of Things use cases in areas like metering, asset tracking, agriculture, smart cities, and connected industry. Telefonica is upgrading its networks to include new LPWA capabilities. It is also collaborating with industry partners and customers to build out the LPWA ecosystem and validate solutions.
