This document summarizes a report on seaweed found on South Street. It begins by noting that seaweed was collected from the shoreline on South Street and brought back to the lab for identification and analysis. Several types of seaweed were identified, including knotted wrack, Irish moss, and dulse. Tests were performed to determine the nutrients in each type of seaweed. Knotted wrack was found to be high in iron and vitamin C. Irish moss contained calcium, magnesium, and vitamin A. Dulse was rich in iodine, potassium, and vitamin B12. In conclusion, the seaweed collected from South Street shows nutritional benefits and could potentially be used as a health supplement.
