Use of the passive voice 
The passive voice is a verbal time in which the 
subject is passive before the acction of the verb.
How is verb formed in passive? 
o The passive verb is formed with the auxiliary of 
the verb TO BE and the participle spent from the 
verb that conjugates
Present simple in Passive Voice 
oI write a letter. 
(Yo escribo una carta.) 
oA letter is written by me. 
(Una carta es escrita por mi.)
Past Simple in Passive Voice 
oI wrote a letter. 
(Yo escribí una carta.) 
oA letter was written by me. 
(Una carta fue escrita por mi.)
Present Perfect Simple in Passive Voice 
oI have written a letter. 
(Yo he escrito una carta.) 
oA letter have been written by me. 
(Una carta ha sido escrita por mi.)
Past Perfect Simple in Passive Voice 
oI had written a letter. 
(Yo había escrito una carta.) 
oA letter had been written by me. 
(Una carta había sido escrita por mi.)
Future con Will in Passive Voice 
oI will write a letter.

Active to Passive transformation 
oThe direct object of the active voice happens 
to be the subject of the passive one. 
oThe subject of the passive one turns into the 
agentival complement that realizes the action. 
oThe this action begins by/por this agent. 
Example : 
The porter carries the bags (Activa) 
The bags are carried by the porter (Pasiva)
