2. The passive voice
The active voice is used to the action of the
verb in the subject.
The girl buys paint.
The passive voice is used when we want to
give more importance to the action and not to
whom it her has realized or when we do not
know the one who has realized the action.
The paint is bought by the girl.
3. The passive voice
The passive voice is formed by the auxiliary verb " to be " and the past participle from the verb.
Present simple :
Active:The man send a letter. Passive: A letter is sent by the man.
Past Simple :
Active:The man sent a letter. Passive: A letter was sent by the man.
Present perfect :
Active:The man has sent a letter. Passive: A letter has been sent by the man.
Past perfect simple:
Active:The man had sent a letter. Passive: A letter had been sent by the man.
Future with will:
Active:The man will send a letter. Passive: A letter will be sent by the man.
Going to future:
Active:The man is going to send a letter. Passive: A letter is going to be sent by the man.
Modal verb:
Active:The man must send a letter. Passive: A letter must be sent by the man.
The man can send a letter. A letter can be sent by the man.
The man should send a letter. A letter should be sent by the man.
4. The passive voice
Active to passive transformation. Changes in the
sentence:
The object of the active sentence happens to be the
subject of the passive.
The principal verb is replaced by the auxiliary " to be ", in
the same time, close to the principal verb in participle.
The subject of the principal sentence happens to be an
agentival complement of the passive.
If we mention in the sentence of the subject that realizes
the action (fastened agent), this one will be normally
preceded by the preposition "by".

Active: Jhon and Martin play to tennis.
Passive: The tennis are played Jhon and Martin.
Active: The runner arrived the finish at first.
Passive: The finish was arrived the runner at first.
Active: The girl can study at university
Passive: At university can be studied the girl.
Active: My friend has bought the tickets
Passive: The tickets has been bought my friend.
Active: The people go to the beach on sunday.
Passive: The beach is gone the people on Sunday.
