my opinion, the Big Five questionnaire was a more accurate assessment of my personality than was

The LIFE survey was very similar to the Big Five in that it measures personality in multiple
dimensions and then gives a numerical score for each dimension. The dimensions on the LIFE
survey are suburbanite, cultured, slacker, and preppie. In the suburbanite dimension, I scored 8
out of 13. According to the survey, people who score higher in the suburbanite dimension live a
more conventional life style and tend to be more family oriented and conservative than those
who score lower. I agree with this score. I tend to be more of a homebody and I enjoy cooking,
which is a sign of a suburbanite. I scored 2 out of 13 in the cultured dimension which I disagree
with. The interpretation of my low cultured score contradicts the interpretation of my low
slacker score. Cultured people try to better the world around them by attending museums,
volunteering, and writing letters. People who score low in this dimension as I did, are assumed

probably arose due to my introversion tendencies, as cultured people are purportedly expressive

humans than I do to computers, and I know that smoking and drinking in excess are bad for my
health. People who score high in the slacker dimension live unhealthy lifestyles, characterized by
their excessive use of TV, fast food, smoking, and drinking habits. I agree with my slacker score,
but this assessment of my personality in the slacker dimension directly contradicts the assessment

according to my cultured score, but according to my slackers score I live a healthy life style

is inevitably rapidly progressing and for this he wishes for her to reciprocate his desires and to
initiate a sexual relationship. Marvell simultaneously suggests to the reader that he or she should
act upon their desires as well, to hesitate no longer and seize the moment before time, and
ultimately life, expires. Marvell makes use of allusion, metaphor, and grand imagery in order to
convey a mood of majestic endurance and innovatively explicate the carpe diem motif.

Sudden infant death syndrome ( SIDS) is the greatest cause of infant deaths ranging from ages one
month to one year. Most of these deaths occur before the age of six months. Normally, any
unexplainable infant death is considered to be due to SIDS. Numerous attempts have been made to
discover the exact cause of this syndrome. However,the only known pathology is that SIDS is due
to a dysfunction or abnormality in the cardiac and/or respiratory systems. To this point, an exact
and definite cause has not been named. This paper will attempt to present several of the proposed
and hypothesized causes of SIDS.
First of all, it is necessary to understand some of the important features of this syndrome (Naeye, ...
Possible post mortem characteristics of SIDS victims have been found to be normal in comparison
with post mortem non SIDS infants of the same age. Furthermore, no abnormalities in the growth
and morphology of the lungs and hearts of SIDS infants have been found. Therefore, in more recent
years, research has shifted from the actual death and autopsy findings to chronic abnormalities
found within these infants prior to death.
The list of proposed chronic abnormalities is lengthy. To this date, research has confirmed the
following: 1) SIDS is due to a dysfunction of the cardiac and/or respiratory systems, and 2) the
death of the infant is due to hypo ventilation of the lungs and periods of complete cessation of
breathing or apnea. Hypo ventilation and apnea cause hypo perfusion of the tissues with necessary
oxygen. Ischemia of tissues results and eventually causes death. Research now centers around
discovering the cause of infant hypo ventilation and apnea.
Hypothesized causes of SIDS generally have fallen into three basic categories:
1) causes related to the respiratory system; 2) causes related to the cardiac and circulatory system;
and 3) causes related to levels of various circulating substances (enzymes, neurotransmitters, viruses)
within the body

After reviewing the existing hardware and software being utilized, I have concluded that Riordan
Manufacturing must make changes to some hardware, software, and procedures affecting IT to be
able to meet it s current goals and expectation. To be able to do this, Riordan Manufacturing must
upgrade outdated equipment, upgrade unsupported operating systems and applications, and
consolidate databases and increase productivity. Some of the hardware that exists at Albany and
Pontiac sites needs upgrades to increase the productivity of the plants. The Albany site can change
its structure to mirror the Headquarter with a 100 base T Ethernet with switches and reduce the
amount of hardware and connections. The Pontiac site needs to upgrade to CAT 5 cabling to
reduce data transmission degradation. Next, replace the hubs, patch panels with switches, and run a
100 base T Ethernet. Furthermore, both sites need to upgrade to a full T 1 connection to support
the data transmission speed to headquarters. Software at both the Albany and Pontiac sites need to
