Senior Business Analyst
My prior position requires me to do the analysis and project management of all
technical projects for TruHome Solutions Mortgage. TruHome is a member of a CUSO,
Credit Union Service Organization, where Community America Credit Union is the
majority owner. We work with a shared services model between CACU and TruHome
and I am responsible for not only the requirements gathering but the total project
management of TruHome projects using those shared resources. I facilitate project
prioritization, project ideation and development on a daily basis. TruHome is made up
of many divisions from origination to servicing and I am responsible for delivering the
project needs for all divisions while maintaining the long term focus and strategy of the
company. I have managed projects that span from website development to

Business Analyst
During my time in the Retail Tax Information Technology group I was given the
opportunity to work with many different business partners within H&R Block. My primary
role was to work closely with business leaders to define the scope, business case and
requirements for new projects. Year over year H&R Block provides enhancements to
existing applications as well as developing new functionality to better serve our tax
client base. Through the use of tools such as UML and MS Access I was able to
provide the analysis needed to create solutions to fit the business need. My role
required that I work in a multi-team environment. My tasks also included development
of use cases and field test scenarios. I was required to provide oversight of our QA
2. teams during all phases of testing through to deployment. On our team I was the
subject matter expert for our Electronic Content Management systems as well as
banking infrastructure. This position allowed me to hone my skills as an analyst by
dissecting the problem from the root and using a global view to provide the solution so
that production functionality was designed to scale for the future with the client view in
mind. The Retail IT team is accountable for the development and deployment of the
tools used in the field offices that account for over sixty percent of the company
revenue annually. Our team managed the infrastructure for communications with
multiple banks as well as sixteen different H&R Block tax related applications and our
host system in Columbus Ohio. I enjoyed the opportunity that these challenges brought
and the experience as a Business Analyst.

Retail Banking Manager
I was a member of the original team that secured national charter as a thrift savings
bank issued by the Office of Thrift Supervision. H&R Block Bank is a 2 billion dollar
asset bank with a national footprint. My primary role was the retail delivery and financial
analysis of the products and services the bank provided to 20 million tax clients,
including 2.7 million Emerald debit card and 200,000 deposit clients. In this role I
served as team lead for product and pricing development and developed process flow
for origination of a debit card platform for 2.7 million clients. H&R Block bank uses as
many as 8 different outsourced vendors to manage daily processes. I was responsible
for financial review of all RFP and RFI requests during vendor selection. I was also the
Retail banking lead for monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting to the parent
company, H&R Block, for the bank. We were required to provide month end financial
reporting as well as staff allocations to the bank’s board of directors and shareholders.
My role in this process was the analysis and management of profitability of income
received from retail banking activities as well as establishing budgets for all retail
departments within the bank.
2000 to 2006 Bank of America Kansas City, MO
Vice President, Banking Center Manager
Managed daily operations of banking center. Directed sales and service efforts of
sixteen associates with a strong emphasis on coaching and individual development
planning to improve sales production and associate career growth. Duties included
market strategy and implementation for Bank of America consumer products to internal
and external partners; promoted new products and programs to associates and
customers; monitored sales activities and operational controls of the banking center.
Responsible for profitability, staffing models, customer service scores, and new
business development. Acted as a project lead for new teller system integration. This
role required that I train and coach associates at 8 locations in Kansas City to prepare
them for the conversion.
1999 to 2000 Intrust Bank Kansas City Region
Assistant Vice President for Retail Sales
Responsible for all retail related functions of seven branch locations in Northeast
Kansas. Managed sales and service efforts of fifty-four associates in these locations.
Duties included meeting with branch managers on a weekly basis to impart new
products and programs. Continually monitored branch sales activities and operational
controls of each location. Directly responsible for branch profitability and subsequent
losses, staffing models and customer service scores.
3. 1995 to 1999 US Bank N.A. Kansas City Region
Regional Sales Manager
Managed the daily activities of a ten associate loan staff for six retail branch
locations in Northeast Kansas. The staff closed loan volumes of 20 million annually.
Responsible for hiring and training staff in all facets of branch activities including loan
procedures, new account sales and customer service skills. Developed programs and
meeting schedules for staff to continue the selling skills of Cohen Brown as well as
FTR. A large portion of my activities also revolved around client relationship building—
maintaining and expanding our business client base through corporate presentations
and local and state sponsored events.
