Job Satisfaction of Employees in Information
Technology Industry: A Review
Abstract:
Job satisfaction of employees is a key part of successful
business. Knowing the employee needs and achieving
satisfaction are the basis for successful business activities; the
employee feedback is most important source of information for
improving companies’ product and services. Job satisfaction
expresses the amount of agreement between one’s expectation
of the job and the rewards that the job provides. This paper is
focus on Job Satisfaction of employees in Information
Technology Industry.

Introduction:
Information Technology industry is going rising with users requirements
of new and upgraded technology. IT industries are requiring skilled,
experience employees for fulfilling end-user requirements. Today’s our
life are not complete without use of technology. Many places from
India are covers with technology. Companies always try to fulfill end
users technology requirements. The most IT industry run business in
software, hardware, networking, clouds, sales, services etc.
Technologies are fulfilled daily needs by easy way. IT’s companies are
already going under in stress of maintaining own finance, investment,
area, union, labor, attrition, confidentiality, loyalty, computation and
political. Macro and micro factors affects on companies, employee and
job growth. IT company’s select best skilled candidate for handle
complicated IT responsibility. The most multinational companies hired
candidate who has not any gap in his/her education or work
experience. Candidate must pass with first class and he/she should
score high in aptitude test. Candidates are frustrating on selection
process in IT Companies. Employers are in under stress for selecting
and placing candidates. In other hand after few month later candidates
are looking for change, he or she want switch from his/her job.
Information Technology companies are facing common problems such
as managing people, recruitment and training, performance,
motivation, Adopting new technology, changes, management,
development, compensation management, performance, training and

Review of Literature :
Sahukar Madhura, Pailoor Subramanya, and Pradhan Balaram
(Sep 2017) focused study on Job satisfaction, job stress and
psychosomatic health problems of software professionals in
India. They examined that how yoga practicing Indian software
professionals cope up with stress and psychosomatic health
problems. In this paper they were compared job satisfaction,
stress and health between ‘yoga practicing’ and ‘non-yoga
practicing professionals’ group of Indian software. This survey did
in Bangalore. In this paper author told that major IT professional
are satisfy with job and few was dissatisfy, they were facing stress
in job and psychosomatic health problems occur in Indian
software professionals. He observed that yoga practicing Indian
software professionals is easy handle work pressure or stress in
his or her work place. Yoga practicing professional had less health
problem.
Ashley Fleming (June 2017) author studied Salary and benefits.
He was analysed the data from PayScale.com, author observed
that tech worker, younger, older and longer servicing staff and
figured out levels of overall job satisfaction from them. He
studied Google, Facebook, Apple, Microsoft, IBM, Tesla and
Amazon employee pay scale data. This articles shown that
satisfaction level will changes by given salary and benefit to

Mr M D Mohite, Business Manager in Nov 2017 share article in
blogspot of aaryInfolineorganization; Researcher was explained
about ‘Information Technology- Jobs, employees and satisfaction’
there are problem with job satisfaction in Western Maharashtra
IT industry. Employers and employees are facing problem of
stableness in IT companies.
Conclusion:
It is observed from above literature reviews that employees are
satisfy as well as dissatisfy in Information Technology Industry. The
most Industries, people and end-users are using technology. There
are increasing new technology demands in today’s life that affect
on both employer and employees. They are facing lot of tension in
own life. IT industries are also in stress ------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------We are suggesting to fresher and experienced
employees that understand company’s needs and discus frankly
with senior about yours reason of dissatisfaction. Here two way
positive communications is important for-----------------. It is
observed from the reviews of the literature the most research of
the authors have------------------------------------- different area of

  • 8. Introduction: Information Technology industry is going rising with users requirements of new and upgraded technology. IT industries are requiring skilled, experience employees for fulfilling end-user requirements. Today’s our life are not complete without use of technology. Many places from India are covers with technology. Companies always try to fulfill end users technology requirements. The most IT industry run business in software, hardware, networking, clouds, sales, services etc. Technologies are fulfilled daily needs by easy way. IT’s companies are already going under in stress of maintaining own finance, investment, area, union, labor, attrition, confidentiality, loyalty, computation and political. Macro and micro factors affects on companies, employee and job growth. IT company’s select best skilled candidate for handle complicated IT responsibility. The most multinational companies hired candidate who has not any gap in his/her education or work experience. Candidate must pass with first class and he/she should score high in aptitude test. Candidates are frustrating on selection process in IT Companies. Employers are in under stress for selecting and placing candidates. In other hand after few month later candidates are looking for change, he or she want switch from his/her job. Review of Literature : Sahukar Madhura, Pailoor Subramanya, and Pradhan Balaram (Sep 2017) focused study on Job satisfaction, job stress and psychosomatic health problems of software professionals in India. They examined that how yoga practicing Indian software professionals cope up with stress and psychosomatic health problems. In this paper they were compared job satisfaction, stress and health between ‘yoga practicing’ and ‘non-yoga practicing professionals’ group of Indian software. This survey did in Bangalore. In this paper author told that major IT professional are satisfy with job and few was dissatisfy, they were facing stress in job and psychosomatic health problems occur in Indian software professionals. He observed that yoga practicing Indian software professionals is easy handle work pressure or stress in his or her work place. Yoga practicing professional had less health problem. Ashley Fleming (June 2017) author studied Salary and benefits. He was analysed the data from PayScale.com, author observed that tech worker, younger, older and longer servicing staff and figured out levels of overall job satisfaction from them. He studied Google, Facebook, Apple, Microsoft, IBM, Tesla and Amazon employee pay scale data.
