This document summarizes a study on the locally manufactured concrete masonry units in Ithikkara Block Panchayath, Kerala, India. The study aimed to investigate the mixing ratios, raw materials, and curing practices at four local manufacturing sites with a daily production capacity over 500 units. Samples were collected from the sites and tested for compressive strength at 7 and 28 days. The test results showed the strength varied based on factors like the specific gravity of materials, water-cement ratio, water-aggregate ratio, cement-aggregate ratio, and water-solid ratio.
