This document proposes a secure data access control scheme for fog computing that uses attribute-based encryption (ABE) and attribute-based signatures (ABS). It aims to address the high computational costs of ABE and ABS encryption, decryption, and signing by outsourcing those operations to fog nodes. The scheme has five phases: system setup by an attribute authority, key generation, data encryption by the data owner and fog nodes, data decryption by fog nodes and users, and cipher text updating with signatures verified by the cloud service provider. It aims to provide secure access control and authentication for sensitive user data stored in the cloud while reducing the computational burden on resource-constrained IoT devices through outsourcing to fog nodes.

IRJET- Secure and Efficient File Sharing and Shared Ownership in Cloud SystemsIRJET Journal
This document proposes a system for secure and efficient file sharing and shared ownership in cloud systems. It introduces the concept of shared ownership where multiple users can jointly own a file. For a file access request to be granted, approval is required from a predefined threshold of the file's owners. The system uses AES-128 encryption to encrypt files for security. It allows owners to share files and ownership with other authorized users, who can then read from and write to the shared file. This provides more flexibility than systems with only single user file ownership.

Improve HLA based Encryption Process using fixed Size Aggregate Key generationEditor IJMTER
Cloud computing is an innovative idea for IT industries which provides several services to
users. In cloud computing secure authentication and data integrity of data is a major challenge, due to
internal and external threats. For improvement in data security over cloud, various techniques are
used.MAC based authentication is one of them, which suffers from undesirable systematic demerits
which have bounded usage and not secure verification, which may pose additional online load to users,
in a public auditing setting. Reliable and secure auditing are also challenging in cloud. In Cloud auditing
existing audit systems are based on aggregate key HLA algorithm. This algorithm is based on variable
sizes, different aggregate key generation, which encounters with security issues at decryption level.
Current Scheme generates a high length of key decryption that encounters with problem of space
complexity. To overcome these issues, We can improve HLA algorithm by improve aggregate key
generation, based on fixed key size. This algorithm generates constant aggregate key which will

IRJET- Compress and Secure Data Sharing for Mobile Cloud ComputingIRJET Journal
This document proposes and compares two encryption algorithms, Key Policy Attribute-Based Encryption (KP-ABE) and Ciphertext Policy Attribute-Based Encryption (CP-ABE), for secure data sharing in mobile cloud computing. KP-ABE allows data to be encrypted with user attributes but does not allow the encryptor to choose who can decrypt. CP-ABE addresses this limitation by allowing the encryptor to define an access policy that must be satisfied by user attributes for decryption. The document concludes that CP-ABE provides more secure access control compared to KP-ABE by giving encryptors control over who can decrypt ciphertext.
Comparison of data security in grid and cloud computingeSAT Journals
Abstract In the current era, Grid computing and cloud computing are the main fields in the research work. This thesis define which are the main security issues to be considered in cloud computing and grid computing, and how some of these security issues are solved. Comparative study shows the grid security is tighter than the cloud. It also shows cloud computing is less secure and faced security problems. This research work is based on main security problems in cloud computing such as authentication, authorization, access control and security infrastructure (SLA). Cloud infrastructure is based on service level agreement; simply cloud providers provide different services to cloud’s users and organizations with an agreement known SLA. So the security and privacy of user’s data is the main problem, because unauthorized person can’t access the data of cloud user. Hacking and data leakage are the common threats in cloud computing. As the security due to hackers increase over internet and the cloud computing is totally on internet. At this time, cloud computing demand the tight password protection and strong authentication and authorization procedure. For an increased level of security, privacy and password protection, we provide a new strong authentication model named “Two factor authentications using graphical password with pass point scheme”. This authentication model includes the login procedure, access control that is based on service level agreement (SLA) in cloud computing. Index Terms: Cloud computing, Authentication, login, Recognition, Recall, Pass point, security, Cloud Provider, Service level Agreement, Two Factor Authentication
Cloud computing is the technology which enables obtaining resources like so services,
software, hardware over the internet. With cloud storage users can store their data remotely and
enjoy on-demand services and application from the configurable resources. The cloud data storage
has many benefits over local data storage. Users should be able to just use the cloud storage as if it is
local, without worrying about the need to verify its integrity. The problem is that ensuring data
security and integrity of data of user. Sohere, I am going to have public audit ability for cloud storage
that users can resort to a third-party auditor (TPA) to check the integrity of data. This paper gives the
various issues related to privacy while storing the user’s data to the cloud storage during the TPA
auditing. Without appropriate security and privacy solutions designed for clouds this computing
paradigm could become a big failure. I am a giving privacy-preserving public auditing using ring
signature process for secure cloud storage system. This paper is going to analyze various techniques
to solve these issues and to provide the privacy and security to the data in cloud
The document compares the security of grid computing and cloud computing. Grid computing is considered more mature and has tighter security than cloud computing. Some key differences are:
- Grid computing uses multiple IDs for authentication while cloud often uses a single ID and password.
- Grid security infrastructure (GSI) uses public key protocols for authentication, communication protection, and authorization. Cloud relies more on basic username and password.
- Grid computing enforces service level agreements (SLAs) and policies across sites using distributed enforcement points. Cloud SLA security is simpler.
- The document proposes a new two-factor authentication model for cloud computing that uses graphical passwords and pass point selection on images for added security.

This document proposes a security model for preserving the privacy of medical big data in healthcare clouds using fog computing. It focuses on using a decoy technique and fog computing to securely store and access patients' multimedia healthcare data in the cloud. The model generates two photo galleries - one containing real patient data (OMBD) secretly stored in the cloud, and one containing decoy data (DMBD) stored in fog computing by default. This is to hide the real data and attract unauthorized access attempts to the decoy data first. An authenticated key agreement protocol is also proposed to securely communicate between users and the two galleries based on pairing cryptography. The goal is to make the original medical data more secure while still providing efficient healthcare access and

IRJET - Security Model for Preserving the Privacy of Medical Big Data in ...IRJET Journal

A Survey on Access Control Scheme for Data in Cloud with Anonymous Authentica...IRJET Journal
This document summarizes and reviews several research papers on providing anonymous authentication and access control for securely storing user data in the cloud. It discusses how traditional access control schemes used for clouds are centralized, while the proposed decentralized approach supports anonymous verification of user identities by the cloud before storing data, and only allows authorized users to decrypt stored information. The scheme prevents replay attacks and enables creation, modification and reading of stored data, while also addressing user revocation. Communication, computation and storage overhead are similar to centralized approaches. Attribute-based encryption techniques are explored that allow flexible access policies based on user attributes.

A Secure, Scalable, Flexible and Fine-Grained Access Control Using Hierarchic...Editor IJCATR
Cloud Computing is going to be very popular technology in IT enterprises. For any enterprise the data stored is very huge
and invaluable. Since all tasks are performed through network it has become vital to have the secured use of legitimate data. In cloud
computing the most important matter of concern are data security and privacy along with flexibility, scalability and fine grained access
control of data being the other requirements to be maintained by cloud systems Access control is one of the prominent research topics
and hence various schemes have been proposed and implemented. But most of them do not provide flexibility, scalability and fine
grained access control of the data on the cloud. In order to address the issues of flexibility, scalability and fine grained access control
of remotely stored data on cloud we have proposed the hierarchical attribute set-based encryption (HASBE) which is the extension of
attribute- set-based encryption(ASBE) with a hierarchical structure of users. The proposed scheme achieves scalability by handling the
authority to appropriate entity in the hierarchical structure, inherits flexibility by allowing easy transfer and access to the data in case
of location switch. It provides fine grained access control of data by showing only the requested and authorized details to the user thus
improving the performance of the system. In addition, it provides efficient user revocation within expiration time, request to view
extra-attributes and privacy in the intra-level hierarchy is achieved. Thus the scheme is implemented to show that is efficient in access
control of data as well as security of data stored on cloud with comprehensive experiments
IRJET- A Review Paper on an Efficient File Hierarchy Attribute Based Encr...IRJET Journal
This document proposes an efficient file hierarchy attribute-based encryption scheme for cloud computing. It aims to address some limitations of traditional ciphertext-policy attribute-based encryption (CP-ABE) schemes, such as high encryption and decryption costs as the number of attributes increases. The proposed scheme, called file hierarchy CP-ABE (FH-CP-ABE), integrates the layered access structures of hierarchical files into a single access structure. It then encrypts the hierarchical files with the integrated access structure. This allows ciphertext components related to attributes to be shared among files, reducing both ciphertext storage costs and encryption time costs. The scheme is proven secure under standard cryptographic assumptions. If implemented, it could provide a more efficient encryption scheme

This document presents a privacy preserving and efficient identity search technique for cloud data security. It proposes a scheme using visual-encryption techniques to overcome issues with untrusted cloud storage. The existing methodology uses data signing algorithms but has limitations as the private key depends on the security of one computer. The proposed system uses visual-cryptographic encryption, which scrambles data using an algorithm requiring a key to decrypt. It involves users uploading encrypted files, administrators approving requests to view files through live video verification, and decryption using the appropriate key. The scheme aims to securely store large volumes of data while allowing identity verification for file access on the cloud.

Secure cloud storage privacy preserving public auditing for data storage secu...rajender147
This document proposes a privacy-preserving public auditing system for data storage security in cloud computing. It describes a system with four entities - the data owner who stores data in the cloud, the cloud service provider who provides storage, a third party auditor who verifies the integrity of stored data on behalf of owners, and granted applications that can access the stored data. The system uses secret keys to preprocess and encrypt the owner's data before storage. It allows the third party auditor to efficiently verify the correctness and integrity of stored data through proof of irretrievability protocols, while preserving the privacy of the owner's data. The system aims to ensure data security and privacy during public auditing in cloud storage.

IRJET- An Effective Protection on Content based Retrieval in Cloud StorehouseIRJET Journal
This document discusses content-based retrieval in cloud storage and proposes an effective protection method. It begins with background on cloud computing and discusses traditional encrypted search methods and their limitations, including vulnerabilities to attacks. The proposed system design generates an order-preserving encrypted password and splits files and indexes into encrypted parts. It then splits an uploaded secure image into a source image and key image using a binocular visual cryptography algorithm. The encrypted files, source image, and password are stored in the cloud. When a user requests a file, the cloud verifies and sends the password and key image. To access the file, the user must submit the matching key image. This prevents unauthorized access while allowing efficient encrypted searching and retrieval from the cloud.
IRJET- Secure Cloud Storage through Dual ProtectionIRJET Journal
This document discusses secure cloud storage through dual protection. It proposes a system that encrypts stored data and splits files across three different cloud server locations. This provides strong security as an attacker would need to decrypt the files and combine the split pieces, which is not possible without the file owner's permission. The system uses key generation to verify file downloads and updates, only allowing downloads if the correct key is provided. This ensures data integrity and access control. Anyone can store files in the cloud but file owners must approve any downloads or updates by other users. The system aims to address security issues with cloud storage while maintaining usability, flexibility and efficient auditing of stored data.

#Abstract:
- Learn more about the real-world methods for auditing AWS IAM (Identity and Access Management) as a pentester. So let us proceed with a brief discussion of IAM as well as some typical misconfigurations and their potential exploits in order to reinforce the understanding of IAM security best practices.
- Gain actionable insights into AWS IAM policies and roles, using hands on approach.
#Prerequisites:
- Basic understanding of AWS services and architecture
- Familiarity with cloud security concepts
- Experience using the AWS Management Console or AWS CLI.
- For hands on lab create account on [killercoda.com](https://killercoda.com/cloudsecurity-scenario/)
# Scenario Covered:
- Basics of IAM in AWS
- Implementing IAM Policies with Least Privilege to Manage S3 Bucket
- Objective: Create an S3 bucket with least privilege IAM policy and validate access.
- Steps:
- Create S3 bucket.
- Attach least privilege policy to IAM user.
- Validate access.
- Exploiting IAM PassRole Misconfiguration
-Allows a user to pass a specific IAM role to an AWS service (ec2), typically used for service access delegation. Then exploit PassRole Misconfiguration granting unauthorized access to sensitive resources.
- Objective: Demonstrate how a PassRole misconfiguration can grant unauthorized access.
- Steps:
- Allow user to pass IAM role to EC2.
- Exploit misconfiguration for unauthorized access.
- Access sensitive resources.
- Exploiting IAM AssumeRole Misconfiguration with Overly Permissive Role
- An overly permissive IAM role configuration can lead to privilege escalation by creating a role with administrative privileges and allow a user to assume this role.
- Objective: Show how overly permissive IAM roles can lead to privilege escalation.
- Steps:
- Create role with administrative privileges.
- Allow user to assume the role.
- Perform administrative actions.
- Differentiation between PassRole vs AssumeRole

Applications of artificial Intelligence in Mechanical Engineering.pdfAtif Razi
Historically, mechanical engineering has relied heavily on human expertise and empirical methods to solve complex problems. With the introduction of computer-aided design (CAD) and finite element analysis (FEA), the field took its first steps towards digitization. These tools allowed engineers to simulate and analyze mechanical systems with greater accuracy and efficiency. However, the sheer volume of data generated by modern engineering systems and the increasing complexity of these systems have necessitated more advanced analytical tools, paving the way for AI.
AI offers the capability to process vast amounts of data, identify patterns, and make predictions with a level of speed and accuracy unattainable by traditional methods. This has profound implications for mechanical engineering, enabling more efficient design processes, predictive maintenance strategies, and optimized manufacturing operations. AI-driven tools can learn from historical data, adapt to new information, and continuously improve their performance, making them invaluable in tackling the multifaceted challenges of modern mechanical engineering.
Accident detection system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
The Rapid growth of technology and infrastructure has made our lives easier. The
advent of technology has also increased the traffic hazards and the road accidents take place
frequently which causes huge loss of life and property because of the poor emergency facilities.
Many lives could have been saved if emergency service could get accident information and
reach in time. Our project will provide an optimum solution to this draw back. A piezo electric
sensor can be used as a crash or rollover detector of the vehicle during and after a crash. With
signals from a piezo electric sensor, a severe accident can be recognized. According to this
project when a vehicle meets with an accident immediately piezo electric sensor will detect the
signal or if a car rolls over. Then with the help of GSM module and GPS module, the location
will be sent to the emergency contact. Then after conforming the location necessary action will
be taken. If the person meets with a small accident or if there is no serious threat to anyone’s
life, then the alert message can be terminated by the driver by a switch provided in order to
avoid wasting the valuable time of the medical rescue team.
