This document discusses quality assurance and project scheduling for residential buildings. It summarizes a study conducted on these topics. The study involved visiting construction sites to observe quality of workmanship and identify quality-related problems. It analyzed causes of issues in a residential building that experienced damage after one year. Problems like honeycombing in columns and cracking in brickwork were identified. The study also developed a bar chart project schedule for residential construction using MS Project software. The schedule aims to help complete construction economically and within the planned time period. In conclusion, the study found that combining engineering and management aspects through quality control and project scheduling can increase efficiency and reduce costs.
