This document proposes a design to generate pneumatic and electric energy from speed breakers using a spring back mechanism. The design uses pneumatic cylinders connected to speed breakers to generate air pressure as vehicles pass over. This pressurized air is stored in a tank. Some of the stored energy is then converted to electrical energy using a turbine generator to power electric vehicles and street lights. The remaining energy in the air tank can be used to inflate vehicle tires at a free air filling station. Calculations are provided to design the springs, beams, and turbines. Materials are selected for each component based on their properties. It is discussed that this system could help harness wasted kinetic energy from vehicles and provide off-grid energy solutions.
