This document describes an optical character recognition system using a Raspberry Pi to assist blind people by reading printed text aloud. The system uses a Raspberry Pi 3 with a camera, speaker, and text-to-speech software. It captures an image of text, performs OCR to extract the text, and converts it to audio which is played through a speaker. The system was tested using Python programming on a Raspberry Pi and could accurately read text from images taken by the camera.
Anti missile diffusion system through MATLAB with Image ProcessingVeer Singh shakya
The title gives the idea itself. After coming to the Stealth technology, we are unable to the identification of the actual object(missile, jet plane etc.) and its coordination through the RADAR System. So basically in this project, we will track the emerging light (Fuel burn) that created by any object(Missile, jet plane etc). Then we will activate the anti-missile diffusion system.
Speech is the most important way of communication for people. Using the speech as the interface for processes became more important with the improvements of artificial intelligence. In this project, it is implemented to control a wheelchair with speech comment. Speech commends were taken to the computer by the microphone, the features were extracted with The Mel Frequency Spectral Coefficients algorithms and they were recognized by the help of Artificial Neural Networks. Finally, the comments have converted the form in which the wheel chair can recognize and move accordingly. Our proposed system aim at a robotic vehicle operated by human speech commands. The system operates with the use of an android device which transmits voice commands to raspberry pi to achieve this functionality. The transmitter consists of the android phone Bluetooth device. The voice commands recognized by the module are transmitted through the Bluetooth transmitter. These commands are detected by the wheel chair in order to move it in left, right, backward and front directions. The Bluetooth receiver mounted on raspberry pi is used to recognize the transmitted commands and decode them. The controller then drives the vehicle motors to move it accordingly. This is done with the use of a driver IC used to control the motor movements. The Bluetooth technology used to transmit and receive data allows for remotely operating the system within a good range. Voice operated robot is used for one moving object is developed such that it is moved as per commands are given by the voice recognition module and that command is received by robot and robot is matched the given command with stored program and then set the command as per voice using wireless communication.

There are several human disabilities in nature of which speech impaired people find difficulty in
communicating with others, which is very important to convey their messages without speech. In this
paper, to make them self reliable and independent, with the advent of embedded systems technology an
embedded handheld icon based assistive device as “Virtual Tongue” for Voiceless, which speaks for
severely speech disordered people by simply pressing icons appropriately to fulfill their needs, is proposed.
This proposed module comprises a microcontroller based player to play voice messages, Secure Digital
(SD) card reader, Universal Serial Bus (USB) port, icon based remote keypad, audio amplifier and speaker
along with the benefits like portable, reliable, user friendly, affordable cost, low power consumption and of
course speech in regional language with good clarity. The proposed system is designed to produce speech
regardless of time length, audible to the neighbors, based on the request from the user by pressing the icons
thereby this module deserves inarticulate people. An extended version with a feature of converting text into
voice by adding a circuit, with which any text fed through a keyboard can be converted into speech, is also
discussed.
DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF CAMERA-BASED INTERACTIVE TOUCH SCREENJournal For Research
Camera-based Interactive Touch Screen is a touch detection technique that uses a camera to provide a large display with very high spatial and temporal resolutions. The conventional touch screen technology and presentation methods face a range of restrictions. However, the camera-based touch detection can overcome all these restrictions and turn projection screens into interactive touch displays, creating a through-window experience. It uses a coated sheet of glass as the projection surface to form a two-dimensional display. The camera captures images of the projection surface continuously, which are processed by the Atmega16 microcontroller. A UART module connected to the microcontroller, provides asynchronous serial communication with external devices, synchronisation of the serial data stream and recovery of data characters. This technology has several advantages over other touch detection technologies, such as its low cost, simple design and scalable structure. The applications of this technology include advertising, presentations and outdoor displays.

Bluetooth Based Automatic Hotel Service System Using PythonIOSR Journals
Abstract: This paper describes a Bluetooth based automatic hotel service system. This paper describes the
protocol and provides the implementation details. Nowadays hotels are spending lot of money for the
attendance, tracking of the employees and apart from that, there is no fully satisfied service for customers.
Instead of using manual power if we apply Bluetooth technology, then the proposed system will cut off the daily
wages of hotels. We hope that the implementation and protocol details will aid the wireless technology
community in near future.

The current paper is mainly about maintaining a secure
environment and also free from thefts that are happening
in our home. The present paper discusses about the
detection of intruders with the help of the various
devices and software.. OpenCV(open source computer
vision) is the major software that is being used in our
present work. For detecting faces we are using various
algorithms like Haar cascade, linear SVM, deep neural
network etc. The main method that we have proposed in
our work is, if any person comes in front of the pi
camera, first it will look for potential matches that we
have already stored in our system If the module finds a
match then it continues to record until any intruder
comes. If the face is not recognized then the unknown
person’s face will be captured and a snap shot will be
sent to the user’s email. The device is developed using
Raspberry Pi b+ with 1.4 GHz quad core processor,
raspberry pi camera module and a Wireless dongle to
communicate with user’s email.

Recognizing of Text and Product Label from Hand Held Entity Intended for Visi...YogeshIJTSRD
Our proposed work involves recognizing text and product label reading from portable entities intended for Visionless Persons using Raspberry Pi 3, ultrasonic sensor. Raspberry Pi 3 is the controller used in the proposed device. GPS is fixed in the system and it is used to find the exact location of the person in terms of longitude and latitude, this information is sent to the caretaker through e mail. The caretaker can use the latitude and longitude to find the address on Google Maps. The camera is used to identify the obstacle or object ahead and the output is told to the blind user in speech form. The camera also identifies objects with words on them, using image processing these images are converted to text, and using Tesseract the text is converted to speech, thus giving the speech output to the blind about what is written on the object. RF ID is used to find the stick using tags. The buzzer goes ON to identify the location of the stick. A threshold value for distance between the user and the stick is set, when the distance is less than the threshold value, the buzzer sound increases. Arunkumar. V | Aswin M. D | Bhavan. S | Gopinath. Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.

Hierarchical Digital Twin of a Naval Power SystemKerry Sado
A hierarchical digital twin of a Naval DC power system has been developed and experimentally verified. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.

CFD Simulation of By-pass Flow in a HRSG module by R&R Consult.pptxR&R Consult
CFD analysis is incredibly effective at solving mysteries and improving the performance of complex systems!
Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected.
R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production.
An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred.
R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance.
Based on our results, Tetra Engineering installed covering plates to reduce the bypass flow. This improved the boiler's performance and increased electricity production.
It is always satisfying when we can help solve complex challenges like this. Do your systems also need a check-up or optimization? Give us a call!
Work done in cooperation with James Malloy and David Moelling from Tetra Engineering.
