This document describes an IOT-based smart agriculture monitoring system that uses sensors to monitor soil moisture, temperature, humidity and detect animals on farms. The system includes sensors connected to an Arduino microcontroller that collects data from the sensors. The microcontroller analyzes the sensor data and sends alerts via SMS or the ThingSpeak IoT platform if readings are outside thresholds. This allows farmers to remotely monitor fields and resources and take timely action. The system aims to help farmers overcome challenges of traditional agriculture through automation and remote monitoring using emerging technologies like IOT.
Internet of Things & Its application in Smart AgricultureMohammad Zakriya
As we know Agriculture plays vital role in the development of agricultural country. In India about 70% of population depends upon farming and one third of the nation’s capital comes from farming. Issues concerning agriculture have been always hindering the development of the country. The only solution to this problem is smart agriculture by modernizing the current traditional methods of agriculture. Hence the project aims at making agriculture smart using automation and IoT technologies.

The Role of Environmental Sensors in Diverse IndustriesUbiBot
IoT or the internet of things is finding its applications in multiple industries by minimizing manual work and promoting digital transformations in diverse industries. One of the significant advantages of IoT is it helps industries cut-off costs in production and storage. IoT environmental sensors can also efficiently manage all environmental activities like humidity, temperature, soil, water, and air quality to create a safe and secure bio bubble for effective production means. These environmental sensors can also detect a location or a position of the object with the help of Server room environmental monitoring equipment, which helps in uplifting the work standards in manufacturing industries, warehouses, and in smart agriculture projects.

Advanced Crop Monitoring using Internet of Things based Smart Intrusion & Pre...ijtsrd
In the world, economic growth of many countries mainly depends on crop cultivation. Agriculture provides the food for people and produces several raw materials for industries. Now-a-days, crop cultivation is decreasing rapidly. To overcome this problem, monitoring the crop water requirements, temperature and humidity of the cultivating land and a system to prevent the entry of animals into the farm is required. The main concept of this paper is to prevent the animal intrusion and to monitor the crop water requirements. This method increases the crop yield which will not be harmful to the cultivation as well as to the animals. This system mainly aims to secure the crops by the deployment of sensor and prevent intrusion of animals using image processing technique. G. Naveen Balaji | V. Sachpazis:Terzaghi Bearing Capacity Estimation in simple terms with Calculati...Dr.Costas Sachpazis
Terzaghi's soil bearing capacity theory, developed by Karl Terzaghi, is a fundamental principle in geotechnical engineering used to determine the bearing capacity of shallow foundations. This theory provides a method to calculate the ultimate bearing capacity of soil, which is the maximum load per unit area that the soil can support without undergoing shear failure. CFD Simulation of By-pass Flow in a HRSG module by R&R Consult.pptxR&R Consult
CFD analysis is incredibly effective at solving mysteries and improving the performance of complex systems!
Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected.
R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production.
An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred.
R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance.
Based on our results, Tetra Engineering installed covering plates to reduce the bypass flow. This improved the boiler's performance and increased electricity production.
It is always satisfying when we can help solve complex challenges like this. Do your systems also need a check-up or optimization? Give us a call!
Work done in cooperation with James Malloy and David Moelling from Tetra Engineering.
